Rare European Luger/Borchardt Style Francotte
Single Shot Target Pistol Serial Number 10 - Serial no. 10, 22 LR
cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. This Auguste Francotte
manufactured single shot .22 LR pistol has a manually operated toggle lock bolt that resembles a Luger or Borchardt
pistol of the time. Belgian commercial crown proofs marked on the frame and barrel. August Francotte company logo
marked on the left rear of the frame above number “10”.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 80% original blue finish with smooth brown patina on the balance. Grips are excellent
with crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.

Steyr Mannlicher Model 1905 Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 3462, 7.63
mm Mannlicher Auto cal., 6 1/4 inch ribbed
bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Blade front and notch rear sights,
with “SYSTEM/MANNLICHER” on the right side of the frame cover
and “Md.1905/WAFFENFABRIK/STEYR” on the left. The slide safety
has been removed, with a serrated block installed in its place, and a
pair of serrated grips.
CONDITION: Very fine as assembled (mixed numbered barrel and
internals), with 80% of the blue finish, showing areas of brown patina,
bright edge wear, signs of cleaning/polishing on the right side of the
slide, and minor spotting and handling marks. The grips are very good,
with mild dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.

Pfannl Kolibri Semi-
Automatic Pistol
- Serial no. 9, 2.7 mm cal., 1 1/4 inch
slab sided bbl., blue finish, hard rubber
grips. Designed by Friedrich Pfannl of Austria,
the Kolibri and its cartridge, the 2.7mm Kolibri,
are credited as the smallest centerfire pistol and
centerfire cartridge to see production, with the pistol
easily fitting in the palm and measuring less than 3 inches
long. Manufactured with a notched groove sight on top of
the slide, with a “FEU” and “SUR” marked safety switch on
the right side of the frame, and “FP” imprints on the grips.
Included with the pistol is a photocopy of a ‘60s vintage NRA/
American Rifleman letter discussing the Kolibri, describing it
as novelty item; “if the target realized he had been shot, he
might become real angry”.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina,
minor spotting, edge wear and a few light scratches. The grips are fine, with some shrinkage
and minor scratches. The trigger does not consistently reset, otherwise mechanically
functions fine.

cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, hard rubber grips. A
predecessor of the Roth-
Steyr pistol, the Roth-Sauer
is built around a long
recoil action, similar clip-
loaded internal magazine
in the grip, and utilizing
the proprietary 7.65 mm
Roth ammunition. Fixed
blade and notch sights, the
Sauer address on the top
rib, “PATENT-/ROTH.” on the
frame above the chamber
and the Sauer logo at the
rear. Fitted with a knurled
cocking knob, smooth
trigger, and checkered grips
with raised Sauer logos.
Included with the lot is a
relined black leatherette
case, cleaning rod, and a
stripper clip loaded with six
(mixed) live rounds and one
empty and deprimed casing.
CONDITION: Very fine, 90% professionally
restored high polish blue finish, with some
spots of gray patina on the frontstrap, minor tool marks on the
rear edge of the sideplate, and light handling marks. The grips are fine as shrunken/undersized, with minor dings
and edge chips. Mechanically fine. Case and accessories are very good.
