Coverage is 98%, with a scene of
five game birds in a woodland
scene on the left, four birds taking
off on the right, two birds in flight
on the underside, and a pair of
rabbits on the trigger guard, with
extensive scrollwork around the
scenes. Background is matte, cut deep
and sharp enough to give a nearly three
dimensional appearance to the scenes. Fitted
with a gold washed single trigger and a selective safety. Fancy
walnut checkered round knob short tang pistol grip stock with a
Browning buttplate. Length of pull is approximately 13 1/2 inches.
Complete with a fur lined Browning Airways hard takedown case.
CONDITION: Excellent. The barrels retain nearly 99% original blue
finish with some very light forearm wear, some very light handling
marks, and some discoloration near the muzzles on the right side.
The frame and trigger guard have only the slightest handling
marks, along with typical safety wear. There are a few chips absent
around the upper tang and a small crack in the stock on the left
side at the back of the trigger guard; otherwise, the wood is very
fine with some light handling marks. Some signs of possible salt
wood at the stock head mostly on the right of the receiver and the
right of the triggerplate. The case is excellent.
Estimate: 10,000 - 18,000
