Exceptional Pre-Ban Belgian Fabrique Nationale “G” Series FAL Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. G887,
7.62 mm cal., 20 1/2 inch round bbl., black finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale
(FN) c. early 1970s and one of a limited number of “G” series FAL semi-automatic rifles imported by Browning
Arms. Originally approved by the U.S. BATFE, the Bureau reversed its decision on the legality of the imported

configuration. Further imports were cut off, and those already through customs were given a pass and added
to the BATFE C&R List (see page 23). Features standard winged post front and adjustable peep rear sights, long
flash hider with bayonet lug, adjustable gas port, and a folding carry handle. The left side of the upper receiver is marked “F.A.L. cal. 7,62”, and the right side bears the one-line Fabrique
Nationale address. The trigger housing has the “S/R/A” selector markings with locked out “A” spot. Matching serial numbers on the trigger housing, bolt, and bolt carrier. Fitted with a
walnut forearm, smooth plastic pistol grip, and walnut stock with ribbed metal buttplate.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 95% original black finish with some light edge wear, a safety drag line, dried grease, and minor handling marks. The walnut furniture is very fine with some light compression wear and
