Knights Manufacturing Co. SR-25 LWMM Semi-Automatic Rifle with Class III/NFA
Silencer and Case -A) Knights Manufacturing Co. SR-25 Light Weight Military Match
Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 22042, 7.62x51mm NATO (308) cal., 20 inch round bbl., black/
camouflage paint finish, synthetic stock. Designed with accuracy in mind, the Knight’s
Armament Company SR-25 rifle was created as a collaboration between C. Reed Knight, Jr.
and Eugene Stoner, the inventor of the AR-10 and AR-15, during the 1990s. This rifle is a Light
Weight Military Match (LWMM) variant of the SR-25 family, a predecessor to the Mk11 Mod 0
adopted by U.S. SOCOM (Special Operations Command) as a dedicated semi-automatic sniper
system in May 2000, and subsequently used extensively throughout the Global War on Terror
by the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and special forces units until they were phased out of service
completely by 2017. Features a barrel manufactured without threads at the muzzle and fitted
with a Picatinny gas block, which also acts as the mounting collar for the suppressor included
in the lot. The barrel is surrounded by a 38-slot early Vero Beach manufactured free-floating
Knight’s Armament RAS Picatinny rail forend, with a slot in the top front section intended
for a gas block mounted front sight. Standard marking and features on the upper and lower
receivers, with matching numbers on both. Fitted with an A2 style pistol grip and fixed stock,
with an improvised cheek riser taped on the butt. Includes a Leupold VARI-X III 3.5-10x40
mm Long Range Tactical scope with lens caps, five Knight’s Armament Picatinny rail covers, a
Harris SLM bipod with Picatinny adapter, a commercially paired black Pelican 1700 carry case
with foam cutouts for the rifle and accessories, a Knight’s Armament plastic cleaning kit, eight
extra magazines (20-rounds), and a cleaning rod with guide. The rifle, suppressor, scope, rail
covers, bipod, and six of the included magazines have been camouflaged in three tone palm
frond style spray paint to match.
CONDITION: Fine overall, with 85% plus of the added camouflage paint retained on top of
the black finish with an attractive amount of edge and handling wear that lend it the look of
those rifles used during the Global War on Terror. The case is also very good with scattered
handling wear. Crisp optics. Mechanically excellent. B) Knight’s Armament Co. Mk11 Mod
0/SR-25 Class III/NFA Silencer - Serial no. S22042, 7.62 mm cal., black/camouflage paint
finish. Designed to mount directly onto the gas block using Knight’s Armament’s gate latch
system. Marked “7.62MM MK11-0” and number matching to the SR-25 in the lot.
CONDITION: Very good, retaining 85% plus camouflage paint on top of the black finish with
some minor scuffs on the exterior. NOTE: This Silencer is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully
transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and
