Rare and Excellent Pre-Ban German
Heckler & Koch/Golden State Arms HK41
Semi-Automatic Rifle with Bipod - Serial
no. 10B528, 7.62x51mm NATO (308) cal.,
18 inch round bbl., phosphate finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in
November 1965, per the “11/65” date on the left of the magazine well, and imported
c. 1966 by Golden State Arms, one of the first importers of HK41 rifles. Features
hooded post front and 4-position drum rear sights, birdcage pattern flash hider, a
wire folding carry handle and shell deflector attachments on top of the receiver,
functional flapper magazine release, a folding metal bipod, and color coded “S/F”
fire control indicators with “SET” marking added between, to match the installed
trigger configuration. A pair of hex screws have been installed in lieu of the barrel
pin. The shelf-pattern trigger group is marked “MADE IN GERMANY FOR/
SANTA FE DIVISION/GOLDEN STATE ARMS CORPORATION/PASADENA-
CALIFORNIA-U.S.A./CAL. 7,62 mm NATO” on the left side. Matching serial
numbers on the “HK 11/65” bolt and “HK 12/65” bolt carrier. Fitted with a
ventilated stamped steel handguard, textured polymer pistol grip with
thumb rest, and a fixed walnut buttstock with rubber polymer buttplate.
Includes a plastic muzzle cover.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% plus original phosphate finish with
some limited minor edge wear, minor cycling wear, and light handling
marks. The carry handle attachment is loose on receiver. The furniture is
exceptionally fine with some minor handling wear. Mechanically excellent.

Automatic Rifle with Box - Serial no. M249SA07651,
5.56x45 mm cal., 16 inch round bbl., FDE/black
finish, metal stock. Manufactured in Columbia, South
Carolina, as a closed bolt semi-automatic version of the U.S.
M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) made by Fabrique
Nationale de Herstal (FNH), with this specific example in “Para”
(paratrooper) configuration. Features a hooded post front sight, windage and
elevation adjustable rear peep sight, top cover integrated Picatinny rail, belt
box mount and left side mounted STANAG magazine adapter, folding bipod, and barrel
mounted folding carry handle. Fitted with polymer heat shield, ribbed forend, ribbed
pistol grip, and telescoping M249 Para steel butt and folding wire rest. Includes a shipping box with matching numbered end label,
one STANAG magazine, a black polymer ammunition link box, disintegrating steel links, and a manual.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original finishes with some dried grease and limited minor handling marks focused mostly
on the butt. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine.
