Manufactured in 1922, the last year of production, this is a rare example of a special ordered Winchester Model 1886 extra

line trademark, and the serial number is marked on the lower tang. It is fitted with a Lyman beaded blade front sight on the correct brazed on sight base, an elevation adjustable notch rear sight, and a factory
drilled and tapped hole on the upper tang for a peep sight that has a filler screw in place. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a Winchester checkered hard rubber buttplate.
