Fleming/Heckler & Koch HK53 Sear/Host Combo,
Class III/NFA -A) Fleming Firearms Auto Sear, Class III/NFA Fully
Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. H3472, 223 cal.. Sear is
individually marked, and installed in a shelf-pattern trigger housing.
Internal components are configured for an ambidextrous selector, with
“full/three-round burst/semi-auto/safe” positions. Included with the
lot are thirteen 5.56mm magazines, fourteen 9mm magazines, two
5.56mm “jungle clip” clamps, an extra forearm, three muzzle
devices, and cleaning tools.
CONDITION: Excellent, with minor handling marks. NOTE: This
weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3,
which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms
and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter
44 and 27 CFR part 479. B) Heckler & Koch/Vollmer HK53
Host Gun - Serial no. A124883, 223 cal., 8 inch round bbl.,
matte black finish, synthetic stock. Originally manufactured
in 1980 in Germany as a semi-automatic rifle, this item was
altered by Vollmer Manufacturing to serve as the host gun
for the auto sear listed as item “A” in this lot. Features a
hooded post front and four-position drum rear sights,
with a commercial pattern threaded muzzle, “IAG”
marked barrel, triangular handguard, textured pistol grip,
and a fixed telescoping buttstock.
The receiver is in “shelf” configuration, with a functional paddle lever for the magazine catch. Model/importer markings on the
magazine well, with the serial number for the registered sear added to the right side, and the Vollmer address on the right side
of the frame beneath the trigger housing. The trigger housing is equipped with an ambidextrous selector and bears pictographic
position markings and a cosmetic hinge pin. Internally, the bolt head is dated “IA” to match the receiver, with a full auto pattern
bolt carrier marked “HK 9/76”.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus original matte black finish, showing some light handling marks and scratches on the
metal and plastic. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This item is a “host” for a NFA-registered conversion component, and will not be
separated from that component for sale or shipment. The serial numbered receiver of this item has not been permanently altered
to accept the conversion component, and is not called out by serial number on the paperwork for the conversion component.
