Thompson Submachine Gun, Class III/NFA “SALES
SAMPLE” Machine Gun - Serial no. 815313, 45 cal., 10 1/2
inch round bbl., parkerized finish, hardwood stock. The final wartime revision of the Thompson Submachine Gun,
the M1A1 was on paper made obsolete by the M3/M3A1, but would continue to serve as late as the Vietnam War.
Blade front and fixed peep rear sights, with a horizontal handguard, machined receiver with “CLG” and “FJA” stamps.
The trigger housing is mixed numbered and “S” marked, with dual control switches, grooved pistol grip and fixed
buttstock with steel buttplate. Bolt is M1A1 pattern, with a fixed firing pin on the bolt face and no provision for a
Blish lock or oiler.
CONDITION: Fine, with 95% restored parkerized finish, showing areas of mostly shallow pitting under the finish,
some faded markings, and scattered handling marks. The wood has been sanded,
with minor scuffing and dings. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a
restricted, National Firearms Act (NFA) Class 3, Fully Automatic Weapon, that
is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
(BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479,
National Firearms Act. This weapon is currently registered as being
“LIMITED TO USE AS A SALES SAMPLE (Pre-86)” and
as such can only be purchased by an
FFL with a Class 2 or Class
3 SOT License, restriction
under 18 U.S.C 922(o)

Typewriter Company Model 1918 A2 Browning
Automatic Rifle, Class III/NFA “SALES SAMPLE” - Serial
no. 807903, 30 cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish,
synthetic stock. Established in 1904 and still active today,
the Royal Typewriter Company was one of many American firms
that entered the firearms trade for World War II, suspending normal operations in favor of weapons and aircraft component production. Hooded blade front
and folding ladder rear sights, with “ROT II/5-52” on the barrel, a short flash hider and bipod on the barrel, standard markings on top of the receiver, and “BA4
10-68” on the left side of the receiver. A set of faint importer markings (likely for Inter-American of Sacramento, California) are present on the left side around the charging handling, with “F A S” selector marks and the spring loaded
stop plunger between “A” and “S”. Fitted with a smooth hardwood forearm and a synthetic buttstock.
CONDITION: Fine as professionally refinished, with 95% of the parkerized finish, over scattered pitting. The stock shows mild scuffs and dents overall, with some cracks and chipping on the forearm. Mechanically excellent. NOTE:
