Desirable Pre-Ban Belgian Fabrique Nationale FAL Paratrooper Configuration Semi-
Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 2502946, 308 cal., 20 1/2 inch round bbl., matte blue/black
finish, metal stock. Manufactured in Belgium c.1980-1988, after Fabrique Nationale de Herstal sorted out the “G Series”
debacle with the U.S. BATFE and made appropriate adjustments to the commercial FAL to pass federal muster. Features winged post front and two-leaf peep rear
sights, flash hider with bayonet lug, hand-adjustable gas system, and folding wire carry handle. The left side of the receiver is marked “.308 MATCH” while the right
side is marked “FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL/MADE IN BELGIUM” along with two importer markings. Bolt and bolt carrier are unnumbered. Fitted with a ventilated
plastic handguard, smooth plastic pistol grip, and metal side folding buttstock. Included with the lot is a DSA-marked manual.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 98% of the applied matte blue finish above original matte black finish, showing minor handling marks on the metal and furniture.
Mechanically excellent.

Pre-Ban Belgian Fabrique Nationale FNC Sporter Semi-Automatic Rifle with Box - Serial no. F.N.034379, 223 Rem cal.,
16 1/2 inch round bbl., phosphate/anodized finish, metal stock. Imported c. 1980s with importer mark on the
left of the receiver. Features winged post front and two-position flip peep rear sights (with folding grenade
launching sight), ported muzzle brake, two-position adjustable gas system, and color coded “S/1” selector markings on the lower receiver.
Fitted with ribbed plastic forearm, smooth plastic pistol grip, and folding tube metal buttstock. Includes a shipping box with matching numbered end label.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus original phosphate and anodized finishes with some dried grease and some minor handling marks. A few scuffs are
present on the grip. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair with torn flaps.

Scarce Pre-Ban Italian Beretta AR70/Mod.70 Sport Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. M31488, 223
Rem cal., 17 1/2 inch round bbl., black finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured in Italy c. 1982 (per the “AI”
date code on the right of the barrel) as a semi-automatic commercial version of the Beretta AR70/223
select-fire service rifle, which was based off the joint Beretta and SIG SG 530 design and in service with the Italian military from
1972 to 1990. Importer marked on the right of the receiver. Features winged post front and two position flip peep rear sights, an
integral scope mount at top of the receiver, a thread-on flash hider with grenade launching collar, and color coded “1/S” marked selector indicators.
Fitted with a ribbed polymer forend and grip, along with a smooth polymer buttstock. Includes an OD green web sling and user’s manual. Magazine absent.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original black finish with some thinning/brown patina on the buttplate screw and limited minor handling marks. The furniture is very fine
with some minor handling evidence. Mechanically excellent.

Early Devine, Texas, Production Springfield Armory Inc. M1A Semi-Automatic Rifle with M84
Scope - Serial no. 001597, 7.62 mm cal., 22 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured c. 1973 by Springfield Armory Inc. in Devine, Texas, under the ownership
of Elmer C. Balance, who was the first to produce a semi-automatic version of the U.S.
M14 select-fire service rifle. These early production M1A rifles were largely built from surplus USGI components,
as is the case with this example. Features a winged blade front and “NM” marked and hooded adjustable peep rear sight assembly,
flash hider with bayonet lug, receiver mounted shell deflector/stripper-clip adapter, “7790186/TRW ZJ” bolt, “7267064 HRA” operating rod, and
“7267030-HR-N” trigger housing with a “C46008-2 SA” M1 Garand hammer and a modified profile safety. The bottom of the barrel is marked with a one-
line “RTI BX 210 DEVINE TEX” address. Fitted with a ventilated brown fiberglass handguard and a USGI M14 profile walnut stock, marked with a boxed “P” firing proof on
the grip, with a selector cutout on the right side filled in with bedding material and hinged shoulder support plate on the buttplate. Topped off with a U.S. M84 2.2x scope with flat-post
reticle (serial number “861”) on a Griffin & Howe pattern slide mount (numbered 3350428 on the right side). Includes a brown nylon M1 pattern sling and “MRT/10 59” marked leather cheek rest laced to
the butt. Magazine absent.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% plus original parkerized finish with some light cycling wear, some limited visible brown patina/thinning on the receiver, some carbon residue on the flash hider, and minor handling marks. The
stock is very fine as sanded, re-oiled, and glass bedded to the receiver with some scattered minor handling wear. Mechanically excellent. The scope is very fine with some minor patches of spotting but otherwise clear optics.

Sales Co. Mark IV M1A Pattern Semi-Automatic Rifle, Two Digit
Serial Number “0082” - Serial no. 0082, 7.62x51mm NATO (308) cal., 22 inch round bbl.,
parkerized finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1973 per the included consignor provided matching
numbered data sheet by A.R. Sales Company of El Monte, California, utilizing a new made receiver and surplussed
USGI components. The Mark IV rifle was an early competitor against the Springfield Armory Inc. M1A as a semi-automatic
variant of the U.S. M14 action, with a total of 225 Mark IV rifles being completed as discussed in “M14 Rifle History and
Development” by Lee Emerson. Features a winged blade front sight and adjustable peep rear sight assembly, flash hider with bayonet lug in the “SA” marked and “8 67” dated
chrome lined barrel with bright chamber ring, “7790186/HRT A11/AES” marked bolt, “7267064 HRA” operating rod, along with a “-7267030 66118-” (W.R.A.) trigger housing with a “SA 5546008” hammer and M1 Garand World War II
era production “C46016-9SA safety. Fitted with a brown plastic handguard, a USGI walnut stock glass bedded to the action and trigger guard, with a boxed “DoD eagle” acceptance stamp on the left of the wrist, circled serif “P” firing
proof on the grip, filled in selector slot on the right side of the wrist, and hinged steel buttplate, along with a “BRW/S-1” marked parkerized magazine. Includes a M1 pattern green nylon sling and the aforementioned consignor
provided data sheet which confirms the rifle’s configuration.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original parkerized finish on the receiver and 95% plus arsenal parkerized finish on the surplussed components with some scattered minor edge wear, minor cycling wear, a few
small minor patches of spotting visible on the buttplate, and minor handling marks. The stock is very fine as sanded, re-oiled, and bedded with some scattered minor handling marks, mostly clear stamps, and attractive grain.
Mechanically excellent.
