The “B” gun displays Class B exquisite scroll engraving over a punchdot background
covering some 2/3 of the revolver’s metal surfaces. Both of these beautiful pieces are
unsigned, but clearly engraved by the hand of a master, and that master is American
Master Engraver John Pease. Included is a April 17, 2001, dated letter from S&W engraver Dave Misiaszek on company
letterhead stating that these two consecutively serialized revolvers, along with a third which is not present, were engraved
by Pease’s hand under contract for the Smith & Wesson Custom Engraving Department. Each revolver is fitted with a set of
finely figured dark rosewood finger groove target style grips by Nill-Griffe.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish with minor handling evidence, slight plum hue on the
barrel and cylinder, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent.
