Excellent Colt Second Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Stagecoach Box - Serial
no. 64409SA, 45 Long Colt cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips.
Manufactured in 1973. Features fixed blade front and top strap notch rear sights, the one-line Colt
address on top of the barrel with the model and caliber designation on the left slide, two-line patent
dates in front of a Rampant Colt on the left of the frame, along with “triangle/VP” and “V” stamped on
the left of the trigger guard with “K” stamped on the right side. Matching partial serial number “409”
marked on the front of the cylinder, with assembly number “692” on the loading gate. Fitted with a
pair of black checkered hard rubber grips with matching “409” partial serial numbers etched under
each. Includes an un-numbered Colt “stagecoach” box with appropriate barrel length and
caliber markings.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with very limited
handling evidence, clear roll-markings, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is
fine, with a tear on one corner.

Excellent Nickel Plated Colt Second Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Stagecoach
Box - Serial no. 45397SA, 45 Long Colt cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, hard rubber grips.
Features fixed blade front and top strap notch rear sights, the one-line Colt address on top of the
barrel with the model and caliber designation on the left slide, two-line patent dates in front of a
Rampant Colt on the left of the frame, along with “triangle/VP” and “V” stamped on the left of the
trigger guard with “K” stamped on the right side. Matching partial serial number “5397” marked on
the front of the cylinder, with assembly number “928” on the loading gate. Fitted with a pair of black
checkered hard rubber grips numbered to another revolver. Includes a matching hand-numbered
Colt “stagecoach” box with appropriate end label.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel plating with some faint handling
evidence and crisp markings. The replacement grips are also excellent with crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine.

Desirable Consecutively Serialized Pair of
Colt Second Generation Single Action Army Revolvers with Case and
Factory Letter -A) Colt Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 55548SA,
45 Long Colt cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., nickel finish, synthetic grips. The included
factory letter lists this pair with consecutive serial numbers, .45 Long Colt chambering, 5
1/2 inch barrels, nickel finishes, and wood grips when the pair was shipped to The
Gun Room of West Covina, California, on
September 10th, 1970. According to
page 87 of Don Wilkerson’s “The Post-War
Single-Action Revolver: 1955-1975” there
were only 65 consecutive sets of nickel finished
Second Generation Single Action Army revolvers with 5 1/2 inch .45 caliber
barrels. The revolvers have round blade front sights with groove rear sight on
the frame and standard markings. Each revolver has been fitted with a set of Pearlite
grips with gold Rampant Colt medallions. The pair is housed in a fitted hardwood case
with red lining.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original nickel finish with minor handling evidence
and a faint cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some separated internal
dividers. B) Colt Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. 55549SA, 45 Long Colt cal., 5 1/2 inch round
bbl., nickel finish, synthetic grips. As described in “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original nickel finish with minor handling evidence and a faint
cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. A great chance to own an excellent and rare pair of Colt Single
Action Army Revolvers!
