Factory Engraved Ferlib .410 Bore “Princess” Model Double Barrel
Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 185, 410 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl.,
blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Built with blued steel chopperlump barrels
featuring a single bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib which
is engraved “FERLIB” near the base, light engraving at the breech, 2003
dated Italian proof marks on the flats, and 3 inch chambers with automatic
ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the coin finished action which features an
elegantly swept back design along with double triggers and a tang mounted manual safety with gold
inlaid “S” indicator. The action displays highly attractive near full coverage tight scroll engraving, unbroken aside from “FERLIB” on the underside. The scroll then spills
off of the action and continues onto the toplever, both tangs, and the trigger guard, which also shows fine scenes with a quail in flight on the bow. The gun is fitted
with a gorgeous highly figured and multi-point checkered semi-beavertail forend with engraved iron and an Anson button release. The straight hand stock features
matching checkering, a three letter monogram in the gold inscription oval, and a checkered bare butt. Includes an unmarked handsome leather flat case with brass
corners. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed and measured at 10.7 mm (.421 inches); choke constriction
.001/.013 inches; 1 5/16 inch drop at comb; 2 5/16 inch drop at heel; 15 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs. 1 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
The case is very fine. A great chance to own a fine Italian small bore gun!

Factory Signed, Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Renato Gamba
Ambassador Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. A30627, 12 gauge,
28 3/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Built with blued
steel chopperlump barrels featuring a single white bead sight on the matted flat
tapered solid rib, “MANNLICHER.MOD.AMBASSADOR/MADE IN ITALY” and “BY RENATO
GAMBA” marked on the left and right tube respectively, single gold band at the breech, 1980
dated Italian proof marks, import mark under forend, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic
ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the coin finished sidelock action which displays near full
coverage deeply cut floral scroll engraving surrounding bestial heads at the center of spiraling
vinework. The underside of the action displays a trio of bestial grotesque masks beneath
“RENATO GAMBA/ARMI” in a banner. The gun is signed “Lajdiui” to the triggerplate to the right of the trigger guard. The
engraving continues onto the pierced toplever, both tangs, and the triggerguard. The gun features bushed firing pins, a
single trigger, right hand rolled trigger guard, cocking indicators, and a tang mounted manual safety. The gun is fitted
with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered semi-beavertail forend with engraved iron and an Anson button
release. The straight hand stock is also beautifully figured and features matching multi-point checkering, teardrop carved
drop points, and a checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches
from the breech both proofed at 18.4 (.724 inches) and measured .728 inches; choke constriction
.018/.036 inches; minimum wall thickness .025/.027 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch
drop at heel; 14 13/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 3 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes, minor handling
evidence on the metal, a few tiny freckles of spotting, a few scratches mainly on the left of the
stock, and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
