Stunning Factory Gian Marco Sabatti Signed and Bulino Game Scene Master Engraved
Fratelli Rizzini R1-E Sidelock Double Barrel Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 2287, 12 gauge,
28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/brushed bright finish, walnut stock. Guns built by Fratelli Rizzini are
a real rarity. Building only around 25 guns a year, this small Italian firm focuses on making some
of the highest quality guns on the planet with every one being a piece of art, and this fantastic
piece is no exception to that rule.
The gun was built with blued steel chopperlump barrels featuring a single brass bead sight on
the smooth concave tapered solid rib which is signed with the hand cut signature “Flli. RIZZINI
MAGNO VT” along with a small flourish of floral scroll at the base, 2004 dated Italian proof marks,
import mark on right tube under forend, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors.
The brushed bright finished sidelock action with engraved Italian ornamental scrollwork with
interspersed bouquets on the fences, toplever, trigger guard, and both tangs, the bottom of
which also displays the gun’s serial number in gold inlay. The scroll engraving surrounds a trio of
beautifully cut and highly detailed bulino engraved game scenes.
