Factory Engraved Colt Mk. IV Series 70 Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol with Case - Serial no.
22566G70, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., bright/matte blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured c. 1976-1977, featuring
fixed blade front and notch rear sights, a “COLT .45 AUTO./MK.IV/Series ‘70” marked barrel with polished chamber hood,
serrated slide catch, hammer with polished sides, thumb safety, and arched mainspring housing, along with standard
Colt class “B” standard floral scroll engraving on the sides of the frame and the sides and top of the slide. The left side
of the slide bears the three-line model marking and caliber designation, with “COLT’S GOVERNMENT MODEL” on the
right side, along with the Colt address and serial number marked on the right side of the frame. The left side for the grip
frame is partially stamped “LT ENG.” (COLT ENG.) under the grip. Fitted with a pair of checkered walnut grips with gold
washed Rampant Colt medallion inserts and a blued magazine marked “COLT/.45 AUTO.” on the bottom. Includes a Colt
“Vincit Qui Patitur” marked leatherette display case fitted to the pistol and a loose Colt Custom Gun Shop end label with
matching serial number, identifying the pistol as a model “0-1970-B” and with the detail “Engraved-Class-B”.
CONDITION: Excellent plus as factory embellished, retaining 99% plus original bright and matte blue finish with some
dried grease, limited handling marks, clear marks, and crisp engraving. The grips are also excellent with some minor
fading to the medallion on the left panel and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine.

Pistol - Serial no. 6019-BW, 45 ACP cal.,
5 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood
grips. Manufactured in 1968. All six pistols
in the lot are numbered “6019” with edition
appropriate suffix, correct roll engraving/
grips, and include an appropriately
themed display case.
CONDITION: Excellent, 98% plus original
blue finish, showing minor edge wear,
light handling marks, and some dings
and scratches on the grips. Mechanically
excellent. The case is excellent,
with minor scuffs and dings.
B) World War I Second Battle of the
Marne Commemorative Colt Model
1911 Pistol - Serial no. 6019-M2, 45
ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish,
hardwood grips. Manufactured in 1968.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% plus
original blue finish, showing minor edge
wear and handling marks overall, with
some minor dings and traces of adhesive
on the grips. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine, with minor scuffs and dings.
C) World War I Chateau-Thierry Commemorative Colt Model 1911 Pistol - Serial no. 6019-
CT, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured in 1967.
CONDITION: Excellent, 98% plus original blue finish, showing minor handling marks overall,
and a few scuffs and dings on the grips. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine,
with minor dings and wear.
D) World War I Meuse Argonne Commemorative Colt Model 1911 Pistol - Serial no. 6019-
MA, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured in 1969.
CONDITION: Excellent, 98% plus original blue finish, showing minor handling marks overall and
some scratches and scuffs on the grips. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine, with mild wear. E) World War II European Theater of Operations Commemorative Colt Model 1911A1 Pistol - Serial no. 6019ETO, 45 ACP cal., 5
inch round bbl., nickel finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured in 1970. Includes case plaque and seven inert display rounds.
CONDITION: Excellent, 98% plus original nickel finish, showing minor handling marks on the metal and grips. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine, with some dings and scuffs. F) World War II Pacific Theater of Operations
