casehardened/blue finish, walnut stock. This flintlock sporting gun is signed “REDDEL”
on the lock and “REDDELL” in a gold lined sunken maker’s mark on the gold banded

engraved behind the fence and at the tail, and a scene of a dog and bird behind the cock. The trigger plate has a stylized pineapple finial, and the trigger guard bow has a scene
of a pair of birds. The heel tang is engraved with a dog and bird. The balance of the mounts are engraved with scroll, foliate, and burst motifs. The forend cap and escutcheons are silver. The walnut half-stock has fine checkering on
the wrist and a 14 1/8 inch length of pull. The gun comes in a green baize lined hardwood case with a fitted interior containing a variety of accessories, including a flask, shot belt, and other loading and maintenance tools.
