Very Scarce and Highly Desirable Fabrique Nationale West German Issue G1 FAL Selective Fire
Rifle, Class III/NFA C&R Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 29110C, 7.62 mm Nato (308) cal.,
20 inch round bbl., black finish, hardwood stock. Designed and manufactured by Fabrique Nationale in
Belgium c. 1957-1958, the G1 FAL rifle was in use with the West German border guard and army in the late
1950s and 1960s prior to the adoption of the Heckler and Koch G3 rifle. This is a very scarce and desirable
fully transferable example offered. Adjustable post front and peep rear sights, with a slip-on flash hider/
bayonet lug installed on the muzzle, ribbed and ventilated steel handguard, plastic pistol grip and hardwood
buttstock. The right side of the metric pattern receiver is marked with the one-line FN address, with the
German pattern nomenclature on the opposite side and matching numbers on the bolt and bolt carrier.
Import marked bottom of receiver. A folding bipod is mounted on the barrel. Includes a brown leather sling.
This G1 rifle also comes with a January 31, 2025, dated letter from the National Firearms Division of the
ATF confirming its
status as fully
transferable.
CONDITION:

original black
finish, showing
light handling
marks and
scratches
overall. The
furniture is
very fine,
with minor scratches and dings, and
some minor pitting on the buttplate.
Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon
is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully
transferable Class 3, which is registered
with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco,
Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) that is
classified as a “Curios or Relic” as defined
in 27 CFR, 478.11. These weapons are
still subject to the provisions of 18
U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
