This example bears dates of “HK 5/65” on the bolt, “HK6/65” on the carrier, and “HK 2/67” on
the stock iron. Hooded post front and four-position drum rear sights, with a birdcage flash
hider, functional bayonet lug slot, ribbed narrow forearm, welded reinforcement collar at
the breech, functional “paddle” magazine release, right handed selector with “Safe/SA/FA”
markings, textured pistol grip and a two-position telescoping buttstock. The right side of
the magazine well is blank, and the left marked “HK G3 7,62 NATO/4741”, and the receiver,
trigger housing and trigger pack are in “pin” configuration, and the bolt carrier is in factory
original full auto configuration. One magazine is included, marked “IB” (1981) on the left side.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% plus of the original matte gray finish, showing minor
scratches and handling wear overall. The furniture is excellent. Mechanically excellent. NOTE:
This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered
with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) that is classified
as a “Curios or Relic” as defined in 27 CFR, 478.11. These weapons are still subject to the
provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
