Factory Engraved Weatherby Mark V Crown Grade Bolt
Action Rifle in 300 WBY Magnum - Serial no. P61179, 300 WBY magnum cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish,
walnut stock. Manufactured in 1972 by J.P. Sauer & Son. Ramped beaded blade front and Williams adjustable notch rear sights
on the tapered medium weight barrel, standard barrel markings, and a 9 inch section of deep cut, leafy scroll engraving on top of the barrel. The receiver features matching
leafy scroll engraving with standard South Gate, CA markings, factory drilled and tapped holes for scope bases, jewelled and fluted bolt, jewelled follower, engraved
floorplate with relief engraved gold inlaid moose, matching engraved trigger guard, and knurled bolt handle knob. Walnut pistol grip
stock with some attractive figure, rosewood forend and grip caps, contrasting wood inlays, leafy scroll carved grip areas, gold inlaid
inscription plates at the forend and grip cap inscribed “F/D/R”, raised cheekpiece, and vented Weatherby recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent with 95% plus original blue finish, mild handling marks, and some light small scratches visible on the barrel. There
is light evidence that scope bases were installed on the receiver. The stock is also excellent with sharp carving,
attractive grain, and some small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.

Weatherby Crown Grade Mark V Bolt Action Rifle with Weatherby Scope - Serial no. H145533, 300 WBY magnum cal., 24 inch round
bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This Crown Grade Mark V
Rifle was manufactured in Japan between 1983 and 1984,
and is Weatherby’s best grade rifle and available on a custom order basis only. The tapered ported barrel is
manufactured without sights, and the rifle has standard barrel and receiver markings. The rifle is equipped with a Weatherby
3x-9x40 scope with scroll engraved scope rings and a Buehler mount. The bolt is fluted, and the gold washed trigger is serrated. The hinged floor plate is accented with
a floral motif and “WEATHERBY CUSTOM” in a banner. The nicely figured high gloss pistol grip stock has a well-executed floral carving on the forearm and grip area. The stock
is further enhanced with a rosewood forearm tip and grip cap and contrasting diamond inlaid accents on the sides of the stock under the
receiver and on the right side of the buttstock. The underside of the forearm also has a contrasting diamond accent, but the pattern has a
monogrammed plate. The high comb stock also features sling swivel studs, a cheekpiece and a vented Weatherby recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent. The rifle retains 99% original blue finish showing some minor edge wear on the floor plate and a couple small
patches of minor spotting at the muzzle. The stock is also excellent with a few very minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The scope
has clear optics.

Rare Weatherby Mark V Silhouette Single Shot Bolt Action Pistol in .22-
250, with Case - Serial no. M00192, 22-250 cal., 15 inch round bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured in Japan c. 1980-81, the Mark V Silhouette uses the
Weatherby Varmintmaster receiver as the base for a purpose built single shot
handgun for long range target shooting and hunting. Only 50 were made in
.22-250 caliber, per “Weatherby: The Man, The Gun, The Legend” by Gresham
and Gresham; this particular Silhouette is consecutively numbered to another
previously sold here, Lot 3715 in the December 2023 Premier Sale. Globe front
and Williams bridge rear sight, with the receiver drilled and tapped on the
ring and bridge for scope rail mounting. Installed in a fine grain contoured
right handed walnut grip with contrasting forearm and grip caps. Includes a
Gun-Ho brand leatherette case, instruction sheet, extra globe sight inserts, and
additional papers.
CONDITION: Excellent, 98% plus original blue finish, showing a slight plum tone to the receiver and minimal handling
marks overall. Grip is also excellent, with some minor hairlines and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent. The case
exterior is very fine, with the inner foam lining disintegrating.

Weatherby Mark V Safari Club International 1978 Commemorative Bolt Action
Rifle with Scope - Serial no. H95778, 300 WBY magnum cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut
stock. Manufactured c.1974-1981. Made without sights, with fine broad leafy scroll engraving with textured backgrounds covering the
rear half of the barrel, most of the receiver, cocking piece, trigger guard and floorplate, with open areas left to preserve the standard markings and a
raised golden elk inlaid into the floorplate. Identical scrollwork is present on the scope blocks and scope rings, the latter holding a Weatherby 3-9x40 scope. The fancy
hardwood stock is outfitted with contrasting tip and grip cap, scroll carved forearm and pistol grip panels with textured backgrounds, raised right handed cheekpiece
and a ventilated Weatherby recoil pad. A recurring motif of a diamond inside an oval is inlaid in blonde walnut, rosewood and ebony in multiple locations, with the underside of the forearm
including a blank gold inscription panel and the right side panel inscribed “COMMEMORATIVE/Safari Club International/1978” in a gold panel.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% factory quality blue finish, showing a plum tone to the receiver and minor handling marks overall. The stock is also excellent, with minor scuffs and dings. sharp carving and
attractive grain. Optics are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
