U.S. Inland M1A1 Semi-Automatic Paratrooper Carbine with Bayonet - Serial no.
6446924, 30 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized/blue finish, metal/hardwood stock.
Receiver manufactured in late 1944, from the fourth production block (serial number range 6,219,689 to 6,449,883)
manufactured by the Inland Manufacturing Division of General Motors from August to November 1944, and also within the
known serial number range (approximately 4,950,000 to 6,650,000) of the second production run of M1A1 paratrooper
carbines, totaling roughly 70,000, manufactured from May 1944 to January 1945. Features “N” marked winged blade front
and “I.R.CO.” type III milled adjustable peep rear sights, Replacement “12-44” dated Inland barrel, “AI” type III barrel band, underlined “PI” type V
operating rod, “AOB” blued round-top bolt, and an “INLAND” milled trigger housing with an “IR-W” type III magazine release, “J.A.O.” rotary safety, and “H.I.” type III hammer. Fitted
with an unmarked four rivet walnut handguard, a second series ‘low-wood’ M1A1 stock (modified for M2 selector) with folding metal wire butt, leather cheek rest with steel rivets,
and an “ordnance wheel” stamp on the right side of the ‘Slim Jim’ grip, along with a “UN” marked blued magazine. Includes a “U.S. M4/AERIAL” marked bayonet, an OD green web sling, and metal oiler.
CONDITION: Very fine as arsenal refurbished and assembled, retaining 85% plus parkerized and 70% blue finishes with some light edge wear, light cycling wear, scattered light patches of spotting/oxidation, silvering on the muzzle
from mounting the bayonet, and some light handling marks. The stock is fine as sanded, re-oiled, and modified, with the interior painted red and scattered light spotting on the metal stock. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is
very good as heavily sharpened without scabbard.

1913 Production U.S. Rock Island Arsenal
Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no. 236190, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue/oil-quench casehardened
finish, walnut stock. Receiver manufactured by the U.S. Rock Island Arsenal in 1913, prior to the temporary suspension of Model 1903 rifle
production at the arsenal from 1914 to 1916. Features a fixed blade front and folding ladder rear (polished face, with top volley notch) sights, “T”
marked on the underside of the front sight base, a “RIA/flaming bomb/6-13” marked barrel with “C 93/P” steel lot code on the underside, unmarked blued straight-handle
bolt, and serrated trigger. Fitted with a “high-hump” profile walnut handguard and a “S” profile grasping groove walnut stock, marked with a “S” on the nose, boxed script “C.N./1913”
(Conrad Nelson) inspection cartouche on the left of the wrist, and “3” over circled script “P” firing proof on the grip, with a single rear recoil bolt and checkered buttplate. Includes a
nickel plated oiler stowed in the butt trap and a brass collection tag numbered “29”.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% plus original blue finish and 90% plus original oil-quenched casehardened finish on the receiver with a refinished replacement triggerguard, some
scattered light edge wear, light cycling wear, some areas of minor thinning on the balance with a mostly smooth brown patina, a few specs of spotting, some minor handling wear, and
clear markings. The stock is exceptionally fine with a few scattered light compression marks and scuffs, a minor chip at the toe, along with a very clear cartouche, attractive original oiled
grain, and crisp grasping grooves. A very fine specimen of a 1913 production U.S. Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 bolt action rifle!

Automatic Carbine - Serial no. 1400508, 30 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized/
blue finish, walnut stock. Receiver manufactured in 1943, from the first production block (serial
number range 1,350,000 to 1,449,999) manufactured by Underwood Elliot-Fisher from November
1942 to July 1943. “4-43” dated Underwood barrel, “U” marked front sight, “S” marked ‘L’ flip peep
rear sight, unmarked type I barrel band, “U” and “M” marked type I operating rod, “U” blued round-top bolt, and a “U” milled trigger housing with “U” type III magazine release,
unmarked push-button safety, and “U” type II “dog-leg” hammer. Fitted with a two-rivet walnut handguard marked “Pedersen U” on the underside, a walnut “high-wood” stock with
“I” cut oiler slot, marked with “MARLIN” in the sling channel, boxed “UEF/GHD” (Underwood Elliot-Fisher, Lt. Col. Guy H. Drewry) inspection stamp on the right of the butt, along
with circled “P” on the underside of the pistol grip, and a circled “IU” marked blued magazine. Includes a web sling and metal oiler.
CONDITION: Excellent retaining 90% plus original parkerized and blue finishes with some minor edge wear, minor cycling wear, minor handling marks, and crisp roll-marks. The
stock is exceptionally fine as re-oiled with a few light handling marks and clear markings. Mechanically excellent. Overall an exceptional example of a first production block

Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with Sealed M84 Scope, Accessories, and CMP Letter
- Serial no. 3135756, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock.
Receiver manufactured in September 1944 and subsequently arsenal upgraded to the M1D sniper specifications, with
many rifles so converted used during the Korean and the Vietnam Wars. Features winged blade front and T105 adjustable
peep rear sights, World War II era Springfield Armory pattern wide base gas cylinder, “O” marked cross-
slot lock screw, “S-A-9-52” marked barrel with parkerized chamber ring, “6 SA” operating rod, “D28287-
2SA/RE4C” bolt, and a “D28290-12-SA” trigger housing with “C46008-8 SA” hammer, “SA-11” safety, and
unmarked milled trigger guard. Circled serif “P” firing proof stamp on the pistol grip, with open border
“S.A.” (Springfield Armory) cartouche stamp ahead of “RA” (Raritan Arsenal) on the left of the buttstock. Includes a Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP)
letter indicating this rifle was sold on March 15, 1995, through the Director of Civilian Marksmanship (DCM). Also accompanied with various factory sealed
packaged accessories including the unopened M84 scope and mount assembly, cheek pad, cone flash hider attachment, and cleaning tools.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as arsenal refurbished, retains 98% plus parkerized finish with some dried grease in a few areas, limited minor handling
marks, and crisp stamps in the stock. Mechanically excellent. Sealed scope and accessories are arsenal sealed, unopened for viewing. If you desire an M1D sniper for your collection, look no further!
