Factory Engraved A. H. Fox 16 Gauge BE Grade Double Barrel Shotgun
with Order Sheet - Serial no. 302078, 16 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock.
The included copy of the factory order sheet lists the grade, gauge, chokes, stock, single trigger, dual sights, and
weight when the gun was shipped on November 15, 1929, to Simmes Hardware Co. Built with dual bead sights on the matted
concave solid rib, barrels marked “CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL” and “MADE BY A. H. FOX GUN CO. PHILA. PA. U.S.A.” on the right and
left respectively, small wedges of scroll at either breech, and chambers measured at 2 9/16 inches with automatic ejector. The barrels are fitted
to the casehardened boxlock action which shows Grade B engraving consisting of floral scrollwork surrounding “ANSLEY H. FOX” in banners on
either side and a pair of flushing quail on the underside. The gun features a single selective trigger and a tang mounted automatic safety. The
gun is fitted with an attractively figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved iron and round knob pistol grip stock with checkered flats and serrated hard rubber buttplate.
Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .662/.660 inches; choke constriction .007/.007 inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.035 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 5/8 inch drop at
heel; 13 3/8 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs. 14 oz.
CONDITION: Very good, retaining 80% original blue finish with some thinning and patches of brown patina, mostly silvered case colors on the action mixed with some brown, some handling evidence, and spotting. The wood
shows a few small cracks at the rear of the forend and at the upper and lower tang; otherwise, the wood is very good with a few dings and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved Ithaca Grade 4E
Single Barrel Trap Shotgun with
Box - Serial no. 405105, 12 gauge, 32
inch vent rib bbl., blue/casehardened
finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in
1963 and built with a blued steel barrel
featuring a white mid-bead and orange front bead on the matted flat vent rib, single band of engraving at the breech with
scroll on the sides on the chamber, choke constriction of .037 inches, and a 2 3/4 inch chamber with automatic ejector. The barrel is mated to a casehardened action which displays floral scroll engraving surrounding a hunter
shooting his Ithaca on the left and a Native American with his bow drawn on the right. Though it is unsigned, given the date of production, it is highly likely that this gun was engraved by renowned Master Engraver Bill
McGraw. The gun is mounted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved iron as well as fleur-de-lis checkered pistol grip stock with black grip cap, blank gold inscription oval, and a
red rubber recoil pad. Includes the original factory box with shipping sleeve. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 1 7/8 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 8 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and casehardened finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good.

Parker Brothers
20 Gauge VHE Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 210670, 20 gauge,
26 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1924 as one of 4,203
manufactured in this configuration per the chart on page 258 of “The Parker Story” by Gunther, Mullins, Parker,
Price, and Cote with only 17%, featuring ejectors. The gun was built with blued steel barrels featuring a single nickel bead sight
on the matted concave solid rib which is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. VULCAN. STEEL”, along with chambers
measured 2 1/2 inches with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a size
“0” casehardened boxlock action which displays the standard Grade V zig-zag
border engraving with “ParkerBros” on either side, and features double triggers and a tang
mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend as well as a pistol
grip stock with factory hard rubber grip cap, blank silver inscription shield, and Parker dog’s head buttplate. Barrel and stock
measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .616/.617 inches; choke constriction .024/.024 inches; minimum
wall thickness .027/.021 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 7/16 inch drop at heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 2 oz.
CONDITION: Very good, retaining 95% original blue finish, 70% original case colors with the balance an attractive silver patina, and a few
scattered light dings and scratches. The wood has a protective layer of varnish and is also very good with a few dings, chipped toe, a
crack on the grip cap, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

According to "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price and
Cote, only 4,203 Parker Bros. VHE Grade shotguns were produced in this
configuration, and even fewer were made with ejectors.

Scarce Factory Engraved Parker Brothers 16 Gauge GH Grade Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no.
238300, 16 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1936 as one of
just 129 built in this configuration according to page 279 of “The Parker Story” by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote. Built
with a single bead sight on the matted concave solid rib which is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. PARKER SPEC.
STEEL”, 1936 and 1939 dated Remington repair codes on the flats, chambers measured 2 3/4 inch with extractor, and choke constrictions of .014/.027
inches. The casehardened size “1” action features classic GH engraving consisting of oval game bird scenes on the left, right, and underside surrounded
by light scrollwork and line borders. The gun features double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with an attractively figured and
fancy checkered beavertail forend with engraved iron as well as a pistol grip stock with Parker grip cap, blank inscription shield, and a Pachmayr recoil pad. Stock
measurements: 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 7/16 inch drop at heel; 14 11/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 8 oz.
CONDITION: Very good, retaining 80% original blue finish, some traces of original case colors with the balance a fine grey patina, some mild handling evidence, some tiny freckles of spotting,
some blistering of the finish on the right side of the stock, and crisp engraving on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
