Winchester Model 21 Skeet Grade Shotgun with Factory Letter
- Serial no. 30634, 12 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut
stock. The included factory letter confirms the current Skeet Grade,
12 gauge, 28 inch barrel length, manual safety, pistol grip stock, stock
length, and chokes when it was ordered by The Sutcliffe Company of
Louisville, KY, and shipped to Jay Loan of Ashland, KY, on January 3rd, 1957. Built with blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels with
red bead front and steel mid-bead sights on the matted concave solid rib, standard barrel markings, chokes marked “WS-1”/WS-2”,
and chambers marked 2 3/4 inches with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the blued action which is unadorned aside
from “SKEET” marked on the trigger plate ahead of the screw and features a single selective trigger and a tang mounted manual
safety with gold “SAFE” indicator. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered beavertail forend as well as
a pistol grip stock with blued steel grip cap and a factory red rubber recoil pad. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2
1/2 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 13 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with light handling evidence and a few freckles of minor
spotting. The freshened wood has some minor varnish flaking, a few light dings and scratches, and crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

Winchester Model 21 Trap Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 22803, 12
gauge, 30 1/16 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured
between 1945 and 1960. Blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels featuring dual steel
bead sights on the matted flat vent rib, standard barrel markings, chokes marked “FULL”/”IMP.-
MOD.”, and chambers marked 2 3/4 inches with automatic ejectors. The shortened barrels are fitted to the blued action
which is unadorned aside from “TRAP” marked on the triggerplate behind the screw and features a single selective
trigger and a tang mounted manual safety. The gun is fitted with a highly attractive well-figured and multi-point
checkered beavertail forend as well as a pistol grip stock with blued steel grip cap, Monte Carlo comb, and a factory red
rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .728/.732 inches; choke constriction .013/.006 inches; minimum wall thickness
.035/.030 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 1 7/16 inch drop at heel; 14 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 4 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall as professionally restored retaining 99% blue finish with minor handling evidence. The wood shows some crazing in the varnish, some dings and
scratches mostly on the forend, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Winchester Model 21 20 Gauge Double Barrel
Shotgun - Serial no. 28389, 20 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut
stock. Manufactured between 1945 and 1959. Built with blued Winchester Proof
Steel barrels featuring a single red bead sight on the matted concave solid rib, standard barrel
markings, chokes marked “IMP. CYL.”/”MOD”, and chambers marked 2 3/4 inches with automatic
ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the blued action which is unadorned and features a single selective trigger and a
tang mounted automatic safety with gold inlaid “SAFE” indicator. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point
checkered beavertail forend as well as a pistol grip stock with a checkered factory buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .615/.613
inches; choke constriction .008/.009 inches; minimum wall thickness .026/.030 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 14 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% professionally refinished blue finish with minor handling evidence, a tiny hairline crack at the rear of the upper tang, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend.
Mechanically excellent.

in diameter, the
double-sided alloy
sign features a buckskin-wearing rider
at full gallop, Winchester carbine
in hand, over red “WINCHESTER/
Western” text. The lower edge is
marked “C27660 Stout-Lite (c) by
Stout Industries Inc” on both sides.
Included with the sign is a black
painted iron hanging bracket with
a pair of S-hooks (bolts absent).
CONDITION: Very fine, with some
bending around the suspension
grommets, with some dings around
the edge. The art and lettering are
solid, with vivid color. The bracket
shows some flaking of the paint. An iconic
sign that is from the most famous American
rifle manufacturer of all time!
