Early Devine, Texas, Production Springfield
Armory Inc. M1A Semi-Automatic Rifle, Serial
Number “000776” - Serial no. 000776, 7.62x51mm NATO (308) cal., 22 inch round bbl., parkerized
finish, walnut stock. Manufactured c. 1972 by Springfield Armory Inc. in Devine, Texas, under the ownership of Elmer C.
Balance, who was the first to produce a semi-automatic version of the U.S. M14 select-fire service rifle. These early production M1A
rifles were largely built from surplus USGI components, as is the case with this early three-digit example. Features a winged blade front
and adjustable peep rear sight assembly, flash hider with bayonet lug, “SA” marked and “8 67” dated barrel, receiver mounted shell
deflector/stripper-clip adapter, “TRW ZC” bolt, “H&R” operating rod, and a “HR-N” trigger housing with a WWII era M1 Garand “5-SA” hammer and a “SA” safety. The
bottom of the barrel is stamped with a one-line “DEVINE TEX” marking. Fitted with a smooth walnut handguard and a walnut stock, marked with a boxed “DoD
eagle” acceptance stamp and circled serif “P” firing proof, with a M1 Garand pattern buttplate. Includes a nylon sling and three manuals. Magazine absent.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90% plus original parkerized finish with some minor edge wear, minor cycling wear, some limited light spotting/pitting on the front sight, and some minor
handling marks. The wood is very fine as sanded and re-oiled with some minor compression marks, glass bedding in the auto cut-out in the stock, and clear stamps. Mechanically excellent.

Desirable Heckler & Koch MR762A1 Semi-Automatic
Sniper Rifle with Scope and Case - Serial no. 242-402234,
7.62x51mm NATO (308) cal., 16 1/2 inch round bbl., black/FDE
finish, synthetic stock. Assembled in the U.S. by Heckler &
Koch Inc. with a U.S. made lower receiver and some German
sourced components. Featuring a birdcage style flash hider
on the barrel, “CB” (2021) date code on the left of the upper
receiver, FDE anodized free-floating handguard with Picatinny
rail segment on top and M-LOK slots on the sides, the model
marking and caliber designation laser etched onto the left side
of the magazine well, the serial number on the left side of the
lower receiver above the trigger, the manufacturer’s address
on the right sight of the magazine well, and ambidextrous
color coded safety selector markings. The bolt and bolt
carrier are numbered “242-008970”. Fitted with a FDE Magpul
K2+ rubberized pistol grip, telescoping stock with adjustable
cheek piece, a Harris S-BRM bipod with LaRue Tactical mount,
and a Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x42 mm scope on a one-piece
Vortex mount. Includes a FDE colored and “HK” marked hard case
fitted to the rifle, two extra magazines, FDE colored Blue Force Gear two-point sling, multi-tool, and scope sun shade.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original FDE and black finishes with limited minor handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent with clear optics and untested electronics. The case is very fine.

Fed Semi-Automatic Rifle with Case - Serial no.
M249SA01261, 5.56x45 mm cal., 18 1/2 inch round bbl., anodized/phosphate finish, synthetic stock.
Released c. 2016 and manufactured in Columbia, South Carolina, as a closed bolt semi-automatic version of the
U.S. military issued M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), also made by Fabrique Nationale de Herstal (FNH).
Features hooded post front and adjustable peep (300 to 1,000 meters) rear sights, a Picatinny rail integrated with the
top cover, an ammunition box adapter on the underside of the receiver with a STANAG magazine adapter on the left side, the manufacturer’s address and serial number on the
right side of the receiver, a quick-change barrel latch mechanism, barrel-mounted folding carry handle, and an integrated folding metal bipod. Fitted with polymer heat shield,
ribbed forend, ribbed pistol grip, and fixed stock with steel butt and folding wire rest. Includes a FDE colored Vault brand hard case, three black plastic ammunition belt boxes,
one ACU pattern nylon ammunition belt box, M27 disintegrating metal ammunition links, and a manual.
CONDITION: Excellent/near new overall retaining original anodized and phosphate finishes with some limited minor handling evidence and some factory grease in protected areas. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.
