CONDITION: Very fine overall with attractive dark brown
patina long the barrel, traces of case colors and gray
and brown patina on the lock, moderate wear from use
on the frizzen and relined touch hole, very strong finish
throughout the rest of the stock, faint cracks in the forend,
generally rather minor overall wear, and distinct engraving
and carving. Mechanically functions. Overall, an exceptional
example of a fine Kentucky rifle from the Golden Age.
