Factory Engraved Hubertus Hand Detachable Sidelock Over/ Under Ejector Double Rifle with Zeiss Scope - Serial no. 95997, 9.3 mmx74 R cal., 25 5/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/grey finish, walnut stock. Blued Bohler Antinit steel barrels with ramped white blade front sight and express rear sight on the rear quarter rib along with German claw scope mounts holding a Zeiss Varipoint V 1.1-4x24mm T* scope, scroll engraving around the upper breech, on the front scope base, and the scope rings, 1976 dated German proofs, and import mark under forend. The grey finished hand detachable sidelock action displays full coverage floral scroll engraving with gold washed pins and engraving extending to the toplever, upper and lower tangs, and to the triggerguard. The rifle features double gold triggers and a tang mounted automatic safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered three-piece forend with engraved fittings, including
the Deeley latch release which also has a gold washed lever, and a round knob pistol grip stock with a shadow line cheekpiece, blank gold inscription oval, and checkered bare butt. Length of pull 14 7/16 inches. Weight 9 lbs 11 oz (scope included). CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and grey finishes, minor handling evidence, some marring to the rear scope base, loose of gold wash on the pins, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The scope optics are sharp. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Malcolm King Collection. Estimate: 4,000 - 7,000

CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% original blue with an area of light spotting at the breech, smooth satin grey finish on the action with light corrosion on the left bolster, and light handling evidence.
The wood is very good with a stress line at the upper tang, a few scratches and dings, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 7,000

Factory Engraved J. P. Sauer & Sohn Boxlock Drilling - Serial no. 344026, 12 x 12 x 9.3x74R gauge, 25 5/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1944. Blued Krupp Laufstahl barrels with beaded blade front and flip-up rear sights on the matted, solid rib which is marked “9.3X74. R.”, J. P. Sauer & Sohn marking at either breech, and dual bands of engraving around the breeches. The shotgun barrels have chambers proved at 2 1/2 inches and choke constrictions of .033/.041 inches. The casehardened, scalloped, boxlock action displays
light floral scroll engraving over Sauer markings on either side. The gun features double triggers, cocking indicators, a Greener safety, and tang mounted selector
switch. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend with Deeley style release and pistol grip with blued steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and hard rubber buttplate. Includes a leather sling. Stock measurements: 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 14 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% original blue finish on the barrels, 75% original case colors, some areas of minor spotting, and light handling evidence. There is some cracking on the right side of the stock head; otherwise, the wood is very good with a few small nicks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,750

Engraved Charles Daly 28 Gauge Boxlock Over/Under Shotgun -
Serial no. 31279, 28 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with single white bead sight on the matted solid rib, “CHARLES DALY” on the left of the upper barrel, standard Belgian proofs, chambers proved at 65mm (2 1/2 inches), and choke constrictions of .009/.024 inches. The casehardened boxlock action displays classic rose and scroll engraving and features double triggers, bolsters, and tang mounted manual safety switch. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and push button release and straight grip stock with raised cheekpiece and
checkered bare butt. Stock measurements: 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs 11 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% original blue, 90% plus original case colors, a few areas of minor spotting, and minor handling evidence. The wood is very good with some light chipping, short hairline crack at the rear right of the forend, and some blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
 LOT 315 African Game Scene Engraved Ludwig Borovnik Boxlock Over/Under Double Rifle - Serial no. 40.3133, 458 Win Mag cal., 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue/satin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1969. Blued Bohler Spezial steel barrels with ramped beaded blade front sight, fixed rear sight on the rear quarter rib, import marking ahead of the rib, and light border scroll engraving around the breech section. The satin finished, scalloped boxlock action displays floral scroll engraving surrounding a pair of elephants on the left side and a pair of cape buffalo on the right side. The action features double triggers, bolsters, bushed firing pins, and tang mounted automatic safety switch. Beautifully figured, skip-line checkered three-piece forend with engraved fittings, including the Deeley latch release, and pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, raised cheekpiece,
