Outstanding World War II U.S. Remington Model 1903A4 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with Weaver M73B1 Scope - Serial no. 4996231, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized/blue finish, walnut stock. The original iron sights are properly absent, with a Remington “1-44” dated barrel, “R” marked bolt with properly turned and contoured handle, and the properly offset manufacturer, model and serial number markings on the receiver ring. The included Weaver M73B1 scope is serial numbered “7635029” on the top plate, and mounted on a parkerized Redfield scope base. Smooth pistol grip scant stock with various inspection stamps ahead of the floor plate, a crossed cannons Ordnance cartouche and “FJA” inspection initials above an “RA” cartouche on the left of the wrist, a circled “P” proof on the lower front of the pistol grip, and checkered blue finished steel buttplate. Includes leather scope lens caps and cleaning kit in butt compartment. A circular brass collection tag marked “153” is hanging from the triggerguard. CONDITION: Excellent plus, as issued, retains 99% plus original parkerized finish on the barrel, receiver and scope base, and 99% plus original blue finish on the remaining components including the scope, with some light handling marks. Stock is excellent plus with rich oil finish and attractive raised grain, a few light scratches, defined edges, and exceptionally crisp stampings. Mechanically excellent. Included scope is excellent with crisp optics. This outstanding example of a World War II U.S. Remington Model 1903A4 Sniper rifle would make an excellent addition to any U.S. Military arms collection! Estimate: 6,500 - 9,500

War II U.S. Winchester M1 Semi-Automatic
Carbine - Serial no. 1301429, 30 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. This is an
exceptional example of an all original World War II Winchester M1 carbine that was manufactured in 1944. Blade front and “S” marked Type I two-position flip rear sight, undated Winchester “W” barrel, Type I barrel band, milled “W” trigger guard, unmarked push button safety, “W” magazine catch, “W” hammer, “W” operating rod, “W” blued finish flat top bolt, “W” heel plate, and “BW” magazine. High wood stock with “W” marked sling inlet, “W.R.A./G.H.D.” behind crossed cannons cartouche on the right of the buttstock, and “W” two-rivet handguard. Includes an olive drab green canvas sling and oiler. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% plus original parkerized finish with very light cycling wear, and sharp markings and edges in the metal. 97% original blue finish remains
on both the bolt and magazine. Stock is also excellent with attractive original raised grain and rich oil finish, some light handling marks, a patch of light scuffs underneath the right of the forend, a few minor small nicks on the edge of the pistol grip, defined edges, and crisp stampings. LOT 405 Excellent U.S. Inspected Remington Model 31 Slide Action Riot Shotgun - Serial no. 60119, 12 gauge, 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in June of 1942. Most of the early U.S. government acquired Model 31 shotguns were of the commercial type and used for security duties and gunnery training. This shotgun has a 2 3/4 inch chamber and cylinder choke. Nickel bead front sight with rib groove rear sight on top of the frame. Standard commercial markings on the barrel and frame, and a crossed cannons Ordnance inspection cartouche marked on the left of the buttstock. Neither the barrel nor the frame features any other U.S. property markings. The pistol grip buttstock and forearm are oil finished walnut. Plastic Remington buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus original bright blue finish with some slide retraction marks visible on the magazine tube and action bar, and a few spots of very light freckling. Wood is also excellent with defined edges, some light scratches and handling marks, some light vertical crazing at the edges of the buttplate, and a clear cartouche. Mechanically excellent.
