War II U.S. Colt Service Model Ace Semi-Automatic Pistol with Factory Letter - Serial no. SM8893,
22 LR cal., 5 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 1945, the included factory
letter with this desirable Colt Service Model Ace pistol confirms
the current configuration, including the adjustable rear sight, as well as shipment to the Naval Supply Depot in
Norfolk, Virginia on 5 July 1945, approximately two months before the surrender of the Empire of Japan. The left side of the slide is marked with the standard two-line address and patent dates, followed by the Rampant Colt, and the right side has the standard Service Model Ace and caliber markings. The right side of the frame has the
U.S. property marking over the serial number, crossed cannons at the rear, and “73” on the trigger guard. The left side of the frame has the “G.H.D.” inspection mark and “R/VP” on the trigger guard. The barrel
is unmarked and has a polished chamber. It is fitted with blade front and adjustable notch
rear sights, short stamped trigger, serrated arched mainspring housing, narrow checkered
hammer, long grip safety, checkered reinforced grips, and a full blue magazine with Colt Service Model Ace markings on the base.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% plus of the original parkerized finish with some scattered very light handling marks and edge wear, and some faint spotting.
The grips are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Very Scarce U.S. Air Force Marked Smith & Wesson Lightweight M-13 Double Action Revolver with U.S.A.F. Holster - Serial no. C279753, 38 S&W special cal., 2 inch round bbl., blue/black anodized finish, walnut grips. Manufactured circa 1952-1957, the serial number
correctly falls into the noted serial number range (C247000-C405363) of USAF M13s. The barrel has the standard S&W and caliber markings, The left side of the top strap is marked “REVOLVER, LIGHTWEIGHT, M13” and the back strap is marked “PROPERTY OF U.S. AIR FORCE”. The letter “P” is marked on the left side of the frame and the serial number is on the butt. It has a black anodized finish with a blued steel barrel, casehardened hammer and trigger, and is fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver S&W medallions. Includes a
black leather “U.S.A.F. marked holster.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue and black anodized finishes with some light edge wear, a cylinder drag line, and some scattered light handling marks. The grips are also
very fine with some scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with some mild wear and one of the belt
loop snaps absent.
