Paul Piquette Signed, Master Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Classic
Masters Edition Smith & Wesson Schofield
Model of 2000 Single Action Revolver with Case - Serial no. GWS0671, 45 S&W
Schofield cal., 7 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, smooth grips. Manufactured between 2000 - 2002, and
subsequently beautifully master engraved and gold inlaid by former Smith & Wesson Master Engraver Paul Piquette. The included letter from Piquette states that this is one of only (up to) 25 that he would offer engraved in the style of
Gustave Young. The letter also states that each piece would be fully individual so as to make each a wonderful piece of
art, and what a stunning piece the gun truly is. The revolver features a band of wave and dot engraving at the muzzle followed by an inlaid 24 kt gold band and sprays of floral scroll on either side of the rib, a 24 kt gold front sight blade, floral scroll on the bottom and
sides of the barrel and ejector housing, wave and dot border around the barrel markings, “CME/4” (Classic Masters Edition/4) gold inlay, and scroll near the barrel latch where the work is signed “P. Piquette/MASTER ENGR.” The cylinder features panels of floral scroll
between the barrel flutes as well as a gold band inlaid at the rear. The frame features full coverage Gustave Young style scroll engraving with a punch dot background including a bird’s head on the left side of the frame, a pierced florette on the right, and
a gold inlaid floral panel S&W monogram behind the hammer. To house the revolver is a French
fit hardwood case with burgundy velvet lining and a corner cartridge block and an engraved lid plaque inscribed “SCHOFIELD/Classic Master Edition/CME 4”. Also included with the revolver is a specification letter, glamor shot of the revolver, artwork of the prototype engraving, and two Paul
Piquette protective boxes (one for the revolver and one for the case).
CONDITION: Excellent as masterfully embellished by master engraver Paul Piquette. Retains 99%
plus deluxe bright blue finish applied at the time of engraving; with limited handling evidence, crisp engraving, and bright gold inlays. Mechanically excellent. Case is also excellent with very limited storage and handling evidence. This is your opportunity for an incredibly embellished

Signed Engraved Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Case - Serial no. S32748A,
44-40 WCF cal., 3/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, smooth grips. Manufactured in 2001 and
subsequently masterfully engraved. The
revolver features near full coverage engraving consisting of floral scroll, wavy line, punchdot, and checkered
motifs on the front sight, barrel,
cylinder, frame, hammer, and
gripstraps as well as nitre blue
small parts and a lanyard ring.
The engraver’s initials “AB” can be
found on the frame just above
the serial number. Includes a Colt
hard case and letter of authenticity for the grips from James V. Alaimo.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish with limited handling marks, faint cylinder drag line, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent.
