LOT 3466 Fine Winchester Model 65 Lever Action Rifle in Scarce .32-20 W.C.F. - Serial no. 1003730, 32 WCF cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. One of only 5,704 manufactured from 1941 to 1947 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with ramped and hooded beaded blade front and elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights, and a non-factory sling swivel soldered on the bottom of the barrel. Smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered shotgun buttplate and two holes in the bottom of the stock where a sling swivel was previously mounted. CONDITION: Fine, retains 80% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina, primarily on edges and high spots. The wood is very good with some scattered minor dings, scratches, and scuffs, along with the sling swivel holes mentioned above. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 3,750
LOT 3467 Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle - Serial no. 233025, 22 S L LR cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1956. Beaded blade front and Winchester 32B elevation adjustable rear notch sights, second style barrel inscription, Winchester “WP” proofs on barrel and receiver at the breech, matching numbers on the receiver and trigger guard assembly, and serrated hammer catch and smooth trigger. 17 groove forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% original blue finish with some minor handling marks, slide retraction marks, and some flaking ahead of the trigger guard. The wood is excellent with very limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Ernie Rice Collection. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

Winchester Model 62A Slide Action Rifle with Box - Serial no. 391405, 22 S L L R cal., 23 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1958 and subsequently reworked. Standard markings and features with the custom added non-factory red paint filled “WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK” roll stamp on the left side of the receiver. Includes box with reproduction end label and papers. CONDITION: Very fine as upgraded to present configuration. 99% refinished blue finish remains with some light handling and cycling marks and some very small dings on the otherwise excellent wood. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine as relabeled (see above) with corner and edge wear. Estimate: 1,400 - 2,250

CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original blue finish with some scattered light wear, most noticeable on the sides of the barrel band, muzzle, sides of the hammer, and some edges. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% plus original blue finish showing limited handling marks and wear. The refinished wood is also very fine with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
