Signed Belgian Browning Diana Grade Superposed Shotgun - Serial
no. 56245S7, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1967. Blued Special Steel barrels with dual steel bead sights on the matted vent
rib, standard Browning markings, single band of engraving at the upper breech, chokes marked “**”/”*” (modified/full), and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin grey receiver is engraved in the Diana
Grade pattern with flowing scroll designs surrounding four game scenes depicting mallards in a marsh on the right, a
 covey of pheasant in a wooded scene on the left, a pair of quail on the underside, and a pair of rabbits on the trigger guard. The receiver is signed “Ch.SERVAIS” on both sides beneath the game scenes for Browning Master Engraver Charles Servais. Single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold “S”, “O”, and “U”. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with “F/P/T” in inscription oval and Browning recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bores nine inches from the breech measured at .723/.724 inches; choke constriction .021/.036 inches; minimum wall thickness .045/.043 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 3/8 inch length of pull; weight
8 lbs 6 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes, minor handling evidence, and overall sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved Belgian Browning 28 Gauge Superposed Pigeon Grade Skeet Shotgun - Serial no. 2588F69, 28 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1969. Blued steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard markings, chokes marked “**$”/”**$” (skeet/skeet), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin
gray finished action displays the standard Pigeon Grade full coverage floral scroll engraving surrounding scenes of pigeons in flight on the left and right as well as relief carved oak leaf and acorn designs at the fences. Gold washed single trigger and tang mounted
safety/selector switch with gold inlaid “O”, “U”, and “S”. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with Browning recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .546/.551 inches; choke constriction .002/.006 inches; minimum wall thickness .040/.037 inches; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 7/16 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches; weight 6 lbs 15 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% plus original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence. There is a stable crack coming off both sides of the forend shoe, otherwise the wood is excellent with very minimal handling marks and
sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
