Factory Engraved Signed Belgian Browning “Last series
of 100” Auto-5 Sweet Sixteen Semi-Automatic Shotgun with Box - Serial no. 221CS01110, 16 gauge, 25 1/2 inch vent rib bbl., blue/ coin finish, walnut stock. This
shotgun is part of the series of the final Auto-5 shotguns manufactured in Belgium during the early 90’s. The barrel is fitted with a single steel
bead sight on the ventilated rib with 2 3/4 inch chamber and choke marked improved cylinder. The receiver displays game scenes consisting of a spaniel and ducks in a wooded marsh on the left and a pointer flushing a covey of pheasant in a prairie on the right with both flanked by floral scroll engraving. The top of the receiver is marked “Limited series of the last 100” on the left with “Original Auto 5 Sweet Sixteen/Made in Belgium” on the right, also flanked by floral scroll engraving. “010/100” is hand cut on the rear of the receiver above the tang. The engraver’s signature is present above the trigger guard on the left side of the receiver. Mounted in a lightly figured, multipoint checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock. Includes the original box. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finishes with minimal light handling marks, crisp engraving, a slight chip on the rear sight of the forearm, and crisp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. Box is fair with tape repairs, scattered tears, and storage marks. Estimate: 6,000 - 8,000

Factory Double Signed, Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning Auto 5 Gold Classic Semi-Automatic Shotgun with Box - Serial no. 211GC029,
12 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Dual white bead s
standard markings, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and choke marked modified. The coin receiver displays semi-relief floral scroll
engraving surrounding a pointer and duck scene on the lower left side above “029 OF FIVE HUNDRED” with the bird, dog and lettering inlaid in gold, the upper left of the receiver shows four ducks in flight over a marsh. On the right, the lower portion of the receiver shows two ducks above a ribbon reading “BROWING GOLD CLASSIC” both of which are inlaid in gold and ahead of a gold inlaid bust of John Moses Browning. The upper portion of the right side displays a matching duck scene to the left side. The receiver is signed on both sides: “R Capece” on the left and “Bleus” on the right for Browning master engravers. Mounted with a beautifully figured multipoint checkered with string of pearls border walnut forend and pistol grip stock with round pistol grip knob and FN buttplate. Includes a Browning Auto 5 Classic box. Stock measurements: 1 11/16 inch drop at the heel; 2 3/4 inch drop at the heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and 98% coin finishes with very minimal handling marks, some crazing and discoloration on the top tang, and crisp engraving, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine with storage and handling marks. Estimate: 4,500 - 7,500

Factory Engraved R. Hellinx Signed Browning Auto 5 Classic Semi-Automatic Shotgun with Box - Serial no. 211BC2670, 12 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued barrel with a single steel bead on the matted ventilated rib with standard Browning markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber and choke marked modified. The coin receiver features floral scroll engraving surrounding three game scenes (dog and mallard on the lower left, single mallard on the upper left, and a duo of mallards on the right below the ejection port), a bust of John Moses Browning at the rear of the right side, and two ribbons reading “ONE OF FIVE THOUSAND” and “BROWNING CLASSIC” the left and right respectively. The left side of the receiver is signed “R. Hellinx”. Fitted with a lightly figured, multipoint checkered with string of pearls outlined walnut pistol grip stock with rounded pistol grip knob and FN buttplate. Includes original box. Stock dimensions: 1 5/16 inch drop at the comb; 2 7/16 inch drop at the heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engraving and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine with storage and handling marks. Estimate: 1,500 - 2,500
