ark V Bolt Action Rifle with Scope - Serial no.
SB040384, 300 WBY magnum cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Blued barrel manufactured
without sights, large wedge of floral scroll engraving on a matted background extending 11 inches down the barrel, and standard Weatherby
markings. The action displays full coverage matching scroll, as do the scope mounts and rings which hold a Leupold Vari-X III 4.5-14x scope. The floorplate shows more matching scroll surrounding a relief inlaid leaping gold lion. Beautifully figured stock with panels of floral scroll carving over a cross-hatched pattern, contrasting multi-colored wood
inlays, and a gold inlaid inscription diamond
with the initials “D/G”. Included with the rifle
are the original receipts for the gun and
Leupold scope.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99%
original blue finish, minor handling evidence,
a few tiny scratches in the stock, crisp
engraving, and sharp carving on the stock.
The scope optics are sharp.
Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Weatherby Mark V Crown Grade Bolt Action Rifle with Scope and Factory Letter -
Serial no. H135132, 300 WBY magnum cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrel manufactured without
sights, standard markings, and an 8 3/4 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving emanating from the breech. The action is engraved with the
same floral scroll, which extends to the scope bases and rings that hold a Weatherby Premier 3-9x40 mm scope. The bolt sleeve is also engraved, and the bolt body and follower are jewelled. The bottom metal has yet more scroll surrounding a raised relief gold inlaid bugling elk on the floorplate. Beautifully figured, fancy floral checkered stock with rosewood tip and grip cap, contrasting multi-colored wood inlays, “C/E/P” in inscription diamond in forearm, raised cheekpiece,
and ventilated recoil pad. The included factory letter confirms the barrel length and #1 contour, blue finish, scope, caliber, and wood but makes a few errors on the initials and bolt finish, and also states the gun was shipped to a Leslie Edelman of New York on
July 20, 1981.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and gold finishes, minor handling evidence, and sharp carving and checkering on the stock. The scope optics are crisp. Mechanically excellent.
