Blued steel barrel with dovetailed German silver front sight blade, elevation adjustable rear buckhorn sight, wedding band
transition, gold “.50-110” caliber marking near the breach, and “Dave Norin - Gunmaker” in gold ahead of the rear sight. The casehardened falling block action features a nitre blue trigger guard, safety switch, screws, and lever release as well as the original Ruger markings. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with contrasting tip and pistol grip stock
with blued steel grip cap and rubber recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent as professionally upgraded by Dave Norin, retaining 99% blue and casehardened finishes, limited
handling evidence, slight rub on the lever release, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500

Gold Inlaid DWM/Dave Norin
Mauser 98 Bolt Action Sporting Rifle with Scope - Serial no. F2011, 35 WHELEN
cal., 25 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Built on a DWM Mauser action which was the upgraded to its current configuration by Dave Norin. Blued steel barrel with hooded ramped beaded blade front sight, two position (one standing, one folding) rear sight on the raised
quarter rib which is marked “35 WHELEN” in gold, and “Dave Norin - Gunmaker” in gold on the barrel. The blued action has had the DWM markings gold filled, the cocking piece is casehardened, and is mounted with a Leupold VX-III 1.5-5x20mm scope. The rifle features double set triggers and is marked “Custom Built for - RON SPOONER” on the floorplate. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, blued steel grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, blank inscription oval, and leather wrapped recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent as professionally built by Dave Norin, showing 99% plus blue finish, limited handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the wood. The scope optics are sharp. Mechanically excellent.

98 Bolt Action Sporting Rifle - Serial no. 62300, 9.3x62 cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Built
on a Mauser action which was then upgraded to its current configuration by Dave Norin. Blued steel barrel with ramped beaded blade front sight, island style one leaf rear sight, “Dave Norin Gunmaker - 2013” in gold on the top side, and “9.3 x 62” caliber marking in gold at the breech end. The blued action shows
a gold filled “MAUSER” logo and “1933” date as well as a jewelled bolt body and knurled bolt handle. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, blued steel grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent as professionally built by Dave Norin, retaining 99% plus blue finish with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.

upgraded to its current configuration by Dave Norin. Blued steel barrel with ramped beaded blade front sight, gold filled “6.5 x 55” caliber marking, and gold “Dave
Norin - Gunmaker” on the top of the barrel. Blued action with mounted Hensoldt-Wetzlar 4x scope, knurled bolt knob, and casehardened cocking piece. The gun features a double set trigger and floorplate with gold marked “Custom Built for RON SPOONER”. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with
contrasting forend tip, blued grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, and checkered blued buttplate.
