Outstanding Colt New Line .32 Etched Panel Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 8287, 32 RF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured in 1874, the standard two-line Colt address on top of the barrel flanked by Maltese crosses and the desirable etched panel on the left marked “COLT NEW 32”. The left of the frame is marked “32 CAL”. The full serial number is marked on the left of the grip frame, bottom of the barrel, and in pencil inside each grip, and “287” is marked on the rear face of the cylinder. It is fitted with smooth rosewood grips. Includes a plain modern box labeled to match the gun. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 80% plus of the original blue finish and 98% plus of the vibrant original case colors with the thinning most prevalent on the right side of the barrel showing a smooth brown-grey patina, and the etched panel remaining crisp. The grips are excellent with a few scattered minor dings and retaining almost all of the varnish. Mechanically excellent. A truly attractive Colt New Line!

Very Fine Colt Etched Panel New Line .41 Spur Trigger Revolver with Rampant Colt Trademark on Frame - Serial no. 3751, 41 CF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured in 1876, the barrel is marked with the standard two-line address on top flanked by Maltese crosses, “COLT NEW 41” in an etched panel on the left, and small British proofs
on the bottom and on the cylinder. The left side of the frame is marked “41CAL C” and with a “C” over a Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is on the left of the grip frame, bottom of the barrel, and partial (“751”) on the rear face of the cylinder. It has standard features and is fitted with a pair of smooth rosewood grips. Includes a plain modern box that is labeled to match the gun.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% plus of the original blue finish and 85% plus of the vibrant original case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and the etched panel remaining crisp. The grips are fine with numerous light dings and scratches scattered throughout and retaining most of the varnish. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent Colt Etched Panel New Line .30 Spur Trigger Revolver -
Serial no. 3697, 30 RF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured in 1875, the standard two-line Colt address on top of the barrel flanked by Maltese crosses and the desirable etched panel on the left marked “COLT NEW 30”. The serial number is marked on the butt, bottom of the barrel, in pencil inside both grips, and rear face of the cylinder. It is fitted with smooth rosewood grips. Includes a plain modern box labeled to match the gun and an informational plaque.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original nickel finish with some light flaking primarily around the leading edge of the cylinder, and the etched panel remaining crisp. The grips are also excellent with some scattered very light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Don and Carol Wilkerson Collection.
