Attractive London Agency Cased Colt Etched Panel New Line .38 Spur Trigger Revolver with Pearl Grips - Serial no. 4725, 38 CF cal., 2 1/4 inch round
bbl., nickel finish, pearl grips. Manufactured 1876 with standard markings, including the “COLT NEW 38” in
an etched panel on the left of the barrel, and British proofs on the barrel and cylinder. Matching numbers are present on the left of the grip frame, bottom of the barrel, and “725” on the rear face of the cylinder. It has standard features and is fitted with a pair of smooth pearl grips. Includes an oak presentation case with Colt London Agency interior label, cleaning rod, key, and eleven .38 RF cartridges.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original
nickel finish with some scattered small flecks of light flaking and a crisp etched panel. The grips are very good with a few scattered hairline age cracks and a small chip absent from the top of the right panel. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some scattered minor handling/storage marks.

cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured in 1874. The top of the barrel has the two-line address, the left side has the etched panel marked “COLT NEW 32”, and the bottom has British proofs and the serial number. The cylinder is also marked with British proofs. It has standard features as well as a pair of smooth hardwood grips. Includes

the frame on either side of the sighting
channel has been retailer engraved with
“WATSON BROs/4. PALL MALL LONDON.”
There are London proofs on the barrel and cylinder. It
has standard features. Includes a leatherette wrapped
presentation case with the interior of the lining of the lid
retailer marked for Watson & Sons.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 60% plus of the original blue and nickel finishes with the balance having thinned to either a smooth grey patina or attractively aged brass, and some vise marks visible on the sides of the barrel. The grips are very fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some scattered light handling/storage marks.

“Thuer” Derringer - Serial no.
36151, 41 RF cal., 2 1/2 inch round
bbl., nickel finish, antique ivory
grips. Manufacturing began in
1870 and produced until 1912.
This early 20th century produced
pair are both of the Second Type,
featuring the sloped hammers
and serial numbers only 24 digits
apart. Both have the standard italic
Colt marking on top of the barrel and small British
proofs on the bottom, with the serial numbers
marked on the left side of the grip frames. The left
side of the frame on both pistols is marked “41CAL”
and “C” with a Rampant Colt. The grips on both are
hand numbered on the inside of both panels to
match their respective guns. Includes an oak case
with Colt London Agency interior label fitted for both guns, a cleaning rod, key, and .41 RF.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 70% of the original nickel finish with numerous scattered dings, some scattered patches of light flaking, and very light surface pitting. The grips are also fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some mild wear and crazing.
B) Colt Third Model “Thuer” Derringer - Serial no. 36127, 41 RF cal., 2 1/2 inch round bbl., nickel finish, antique ivory grips. See “A”.
CONDITION: Very good, retains 70% plus of the original nickel finish with some scattered patches light flaking and dark surface pitting. The grips are very good with a couple short minor age cracks in the butt of the left panel, and otherwise minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent.

The grips are fine with some mild crazing and scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is also fine with some scattered minor handling/storage marks.

London Retailer Inscribed and Cased Colt New House .38 Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 23408, 38 CF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1886, the standard Colt two-line address on top of the barrel and the “COLT HOUSE 38” on the left. The serial number is on the butt. There are London proofs on the bottom of the barrel and cylinder. The top strap is inscribed “W.T. HANCOCK & Co/308.HIGH HOLBORN. LONDON.” on either side of the sighting channel. It is fitted with a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with “COLT” in ovals at the tops. Includes an oak case with J.H. Crane retailer label on the interior of the lid, key, cleaning rod, screwdriver, and oiler. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% plus of the original nickel finish with some scattered patches of light flaking and crisp markings. The grips are fine showing an attractive chocolate tone and a few scattered minor blemishes in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with a few scattered minor handling/storage marks. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
