Denise Thirion Signed Expert Engraved Colt Third Generation Flattop Single Action Army Target Revolver with 8 Inch Barrel, Box, Extra Cylinder, and Factory Letter - Serial no. SA008FT, 45 LC cal., 8 inch round bbl., nickel finish, smooth grips. Featuring an extra length 8 inch barrel, adjustable Patridge blade front and dovetailed notch sight on
the flattop frame. The revolver features class “C” coverage Colt expert level floral scroll, and checkerboard
engraving with flourishes of flourettes and wavy line engraving executed by Denise Thirion. Amongst the scrollwork on the recoil shield is a Rampant Colt. Thirion’s “DT” initials can be found on the front of the frame below the cylinder pin, and on the backstrap beneath the grip. The revolver carries the special serial number “SA008FT”. Included with the revolver is the original shipping box, Colt blue box, an extra engraved to match .45 ACP cylinder, and an extra set of hard rubber grips. The included factory letter confirms the configuration including the class “C” engraving by Denise Thirion and “unique serial number” and the revolver was shipped Cherokee Publications, Kansas City, Missouri, on May 25, 2006.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. The grips have attractive grain and color. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine. Denise Thirion’s masterful work is always in high demand, and this is your opportunity to own a full special order Colt cut by her hand!
