Excellent World War I U.S. Colt Model
1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol with
Factory Letter - Serial no. 166575, 45 ACP
cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in 1917 and shipped
to Springfield Armory on 11 July 1917, well before the end of World War I. The left of the slide is marked with the two-line, two-block patent dates and address with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, while the right has the standard “MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY” marking. The left of
the frame has the U.S. property marking and “GHS” inspection
mark and the serial number is on the right. The full blued
barrel is marked “P/H” on the chamber hood and “D” on the
bottom in front of the lug. Fitted with blade and notch sights,
wide checkered hammer, long smooth trigger, short grip
safety, diamond pattern checkered grips, and an unmarked
two-tone magazine. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration (grips not listed) as well as the previously mentioned shipment information. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% of the original blue finish with some
slight thinning on the grip straps, some very light edge wear, and
some scattered light “peppering” on the right rear of the slide/frame.
The grips are also excellent with a few scattered light blemishes in the
otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Remington-Rand Model 1911A1 Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 2147933,
45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., parkerized
finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 1945, the left side of
the slide is marked with the standard two-line Remington-Rand address and
a “P” on top. The left side of the frame has the “FJA” inspection mark (double
stamped), “P” below the magazine release, and “1” on the trigger guard. The
standard U.S. property, serial number, and model designation are marked on the right side, along with “M R” below the model marking and “X” and “H” on the trigger guard. The full blue barrel is marked “HS” and “P” on the lug. It is fitted with blade and notch sights, serrated slide release, checkered thumb safety and narrow hammer, short stamped trigger, serrated mainspring housing, checkered Keyes Fiber grips, and an unmarked full-blue magazine. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retains 95% plus of the arsenal applied parkerized finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina, most noticeably on the grip safety and lightly on some edges. The grips are very fine with a few scattered
minor blemishes in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically
excellent.

Boxed Post-War Commercial
.22 Conversion Unit - Serial
no. SM13218, 22 LR cal., 5 inch round bbl., parkerized finish,
plastic grips. Manufactured in 1945, the left side of the slide is
marked with the standard two-line address and patent dates,
followed by the Rampant Colt, and the right side has the standard
Service Model Ace and caliber markings. The right side of the frame has the serial number, U.S. property marking,
“RIA”, and “90” on the trigger
guard. The left side of the frame
has a “J.S.B.” inspection mark and
“4/VP” on the trigger guard. The
left grip is marked “6” in white
paint. It is fitted with blade front
and adjustable notch rear sights, short stamped
trigger, serrated arched mainspring housing, narrow
checkered hammer, long grip safety, checkered
Keyes Fiber grips, and a full blue magazine with Colt
Service Model Ace markings on the base. Includes
a boxed floating chamber Colt .22 Conversion Unit
which contains slide, barrel, floating chamber, recoil
spring and guide, slide release, and magazine.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 90% plus of the arsenal
refurbished parkerized finish with the balance having
thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, primarily
on edges, and some scattered light handling marks.
The grips are also very fine with some scattered light
blemishes in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The conversion unit is very fine with some light wear and handling marks and the box is good with one end panel of the lid absent and mild wear.

2283695, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round
bbl., parkerized finish, plastic grips.
Manufactured in 1945, the left side of
the slide is marked with the standard
two-line, two-block patents dates
and address with the Rampant Colt
between and a “P” is marked on top.
The left side of the frame has the
“G.H.D.” inspection mark, “P” below
the magazine release, and “x/VP” on
the trigger guard. The right has the
standard U.S. property marking, serial number, and model
markings, with “4” on the trigger guard. The full blue barrel
is marked “COLT 45 AUTO” on the lower left and “P” on the
lug. It is fitted with blade and notch sights, serrated slide
release and mainspring housing, checkered thumb safety
and narrow hammer, stamped trigger, reinforced grips, and
a full blue magazine marked “COLT/45 AUTO.” on the base. Includes a U.S. “BOYT/45” marked leather holster. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% of the original parkerized finish with some light edge/slide retraction
wear and some slight thinning on the front strap with a very small patch of light surface pitting. The grips
are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is excellent with very minimal wear.

Desirable Randall Model 1 All Purpose Fighting Knife with Leather Sheath - Introduced in 1943, the Randall Model 1 was an extremely popular supplemental weapon among American troops through the conflicts of the middle and end of the 20th century, including Vietnam. It measures 13 1/8 inches overall with an 8 1/16 inch clip point blade. The guard is the double brass pattern, grip is stacked leather washers with red, white, and blue spacers, and a Duralumin pommel. Includes a Randall leather sheath marked “8” on the back and sharpening stone. CONDITION: Very fine, the bright blade showing very minimal wear, brass guard showing an attractively aged patina, a few scattered light handling marks on the grip, and a few scattered light dings on the pommel. The sheath is fine with some scattered minor scratches and scuffs, and some light verdigris on the snaps. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500
