Excellent World War II U.S. Remington Model 11 Semi-Automatic Riot Shotgun - Serial no. 484958, 12 gauge, 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1943, this Remington Model 11 Riot Shotgun features a single bead sight, 2 3/4 inch chamber, cylinder choke, and “U.S./flaming bomb”
proofs on the barrel and receiver. The receiver is correctly marked “MILITARY FINISH” on the left side with all other markings being standard. Fitted with a smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with “crossed cannons” and “FJA” (Frank J. Atwood) inspection cartouche marked on the left of the buttstock, and Remington bakelite serrated buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches. Includes consignor research documents with general information about the Remington Model 11. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus original blue finish with a few minor scratches and a few small patches of light surface freckling. Wood is very fine as re-oiled, with a few moderate handling marks concentrated on the right of the forend, a small filled in repair to the right of the tip of the comb, a few scattered minor nicks, defined edges and mostly crisp stampings. LOT 455 World War II U.S. National Postal Meter M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine - Serial no. 4367167, 30 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized/blue finish, walnut stock. “U” sub-code on rear bevel of receiver (signifying Union Switch & Signal). Undated Marlin barrel, “SN” marked blade front sight, “S” two position flip-up rear sight, “UI” type I barrel band, “N/14” flat top bolt, “UN” operating rod, “N/16” milled trigger guard, “HN” hammer, “SN” push button safety, “SN” magazine catch, and “IS” magazine. Unmarked handguard, high wood stock with “TRIMBLE/TN” marked in the sling cutout and boxed “NPM/FJA” behind a crossed cannons cartouche on the right of the buttstock. Includes M3 flash hider, canvas sling and oiler.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus original parkerized finish with some light cycling wear, and smooth brown patina concentrated on the trigger guard. 95% original blue finish remains on the bolt. Stock is excellent with defined edges, some light handling marks, and crisp stampings. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection. Estimate: 2,500 - 3,500

Early Five Digit Serial Number U.S. Springfield M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 90258, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Receiver manufactured December 1940. “S-A 11-40” barrel, “-12SA” bolt, “9 SA” relief cut operating rod, “WRA” trigger guard, “-12-SA” trigger housing, “-2 SA” hammer”. Open box “SA” rebuild cartouche stamped on the left of the
buttstock. Includes olive drab green canvas sling and tool in butt compartment. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 97% arsenal refurbished parkerized finish. Stock is very fine as arsenal sanded and refinished, with some light handling marks and dents, and defined edges. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection.              LOT 457 U.S. Springfield Model 1903A1 National Match Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no.
1347731, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized/blue finish, walnut stock. Standard receiver markings over the serial number “1347731”. The barrel is marked “SA” above the Ordnance shell & flame insignia and date “11-29”, and with the small
star gauge marking on the muzzle. Standard blade front sight and folding ladder rear sight without volley notch. It has a matching electro-stencil serial numbered “N.S.” marked bright polished bolt. It is fitted with a two-bolt walnut pistol grip “C” type stock with a boxed “D.A.L.” inspection cartouche stamped on the left wrist, a circled “P” proof on the front of the pistol grip, and stamped with the matching serial number on the bottom of the buttstock. It has the standard all milled components, with a heavily checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retains 85% original parkerized finish and half of the original blue finish on the barrel bands and rear sight base, with smooth brown patina on the balance and a few patches of light pitting. Stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled, with a repaired split visible in the wrist, and scattered scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

Very Fine U.S. Springfield Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle with Bayonet - Serial no. 1264064, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. The top of the barrel is stamped “SA” above the Ordnance shell and flame insignia and the date “2-24”. The muzzle is not stamped with a star gauge mark as typically seen on National Match rifles made in this same time frame. The bolt is electro-stenciled with the last four digits of the
serial number “4064” to match. It is fitted with the standard blade front sight and tangent rear sight with a polished face and no provision for a volley notch. Mounted in a straight grip walnut “S” type stock with two reinforcing bolts, finger grooves on the sides and a late pattern handguard. The left of the stock has a boxed “D.A.L.” inspection cartouche with a circled “P” proof on the underside behind the trigger guard. It is fitted with a smooth steel buttplate. Includes a “1919” dated Springfield Armory M1905 bayonet, tan canvas scabbard, olive drab green canvas sling, and oiler in butt compartment. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus original parkerized finish with some loss on the extractor, a few areas turned to a smooth brown patina, and sharp markings and edges in the metal overall. Stock is also very fine with crisp grasping grooves, defined edges, some light handling marks, and crisp stampings. Mechanically excellent. Included bayonet and scabbard are both fine, with one chip at the top of the right grip panel on the bayonet. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
