Rare Documented Factory Engraved Savage Model 1907 Semi-
Automatic Pistol with Pearl Grips and Factory Letter - Serial no. 6268B, 380 ACP cal., 4 1/4
inch round bbl., blue finish, pearl grips. Manufactured in 1913, only 9,849 Model 1907 pistols were manufactured chambered in .380 ACP, compared to nearly 210,000 in .32 ACP. The top of the slide is marked with the two-line address, patent date, and caliber marking, lacking the “9MM” notation. The pistol features A Grade engraving that consists of flourishes of English style floral scroll engraving
which was likely executed by Enoch Tue. It is fitted with blade and notch sights and a pair of Type B smooth pearl grips with Savage medallions. The included factory letter notes the A Grade engraving and pearl grips, as well as shipment on 3 December 1913 to Michael Reagan, whose address is not listed. Also includes a modern custom hardwood case marked for The Brower Collection on the lid. CONDITION: Fine, retains 60% plus of the original blue finish and 70% of the vivid original case
colors on the trigger with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and a few scattered patches of very light pitting. The grips are also fine with a couple minor chips absent and otherwise minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent with minimal handling/ storage evidence.

Identified Savage Model 1907 Semi-Automatic Pistol
Factory Inscribed to Mrs. Benjamin Adriance with Desirable Pearl Grips - Serial no. 96253, 32 ACP cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, pearl grips. Manufactured 1910-1917 with the two-line address, patent date, and caliber marking on top of the barrel extension, as well as the Savage trademark on the left of the frame. This
pistol is also factory inscribed on the back strap “MRS. BENJAMIN ADRIANCE.”, which is surrounded by English style floral scroll. The consignor notes that Benjamin Adriance was a plant manager at Savage. It is fitted with a blade front sight and notch rear sight, as well as a pair of Type B smooth pearl grips with
Savage medallions. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish and 90% of the original case colors on the trigger with the face of the trigger guard having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina
with some scattered small patches of light pitting. The grips are excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Bailey
