plated finish. Some corrosion marking to the barrel following the edge of the forearm wood. Stock has been re-oiled and has scattered age related
storage and handling blemishes throughout, some age related softening to the checkering, and insert repairs on the rear shoulders of the forearm. Mechanically fine.

Antique Factory Engraved W.W. Greener 10 Gauge Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun - Serial no. 18422, 10 gauge, 32 inch solid rib bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured circa 1875. Blued Damascus steel barrels with a single steel bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib which is marked “W.W. GREENER. St. MARY’S WORKS BIRMINGHAM”, correct period Birmingham proofs, and 2 7/8 inch chambers with single extractor. The casehardened non-rebounding hammer action displays light line and scroll engraving and features double triggers. Nicely figured, multi-point
checkered forend with wedge fastener and round knob pistol grip stock with blank inscription oval and smooth steel buttplate. Stock measurements: 1
3/4 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 9 lbs. 6 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 40% of the original browning with some spotting and strong Damascus pattern, much of the blue on the trigger guard, buttplate and top lever, 50% case colors on the action, light handling evidence overall, a plug repair in the pistol grip, and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved C. G. Bonehill Back action Hammer Double Rifle in .500 BPE - NSN, 500 Black Powder Express cal., 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with beaded blade front sight (damaged) and two position (one standing, one folding) rear sight on the matted solid rib which is marked “C. G. BONEHILL. MAKER. LONDON.”, chambers with a single extractor, and Birmingham black powder proofs. The hammer back action is blued and display fine scroll with “C.G.

Rare Antique Engraved and Nickel Plated Harris Holland 4 Bore Single Barrel Rotary-Underlever Hammer Duck Shotgun - Serial no. 1991, 4 bore gauge, 37 inch part octagon bbl., nickel finish, walnut stock. Dating to circa 1866 (see Donald Dallas, “Holland & Holland ‘The Royal’ Gunmaker,” p. 233), this early gun was manufactured by Harris John Holland prior to his nephew joining him and the company renaming to the world famous Holland & Holland. The unusual nickel plated finish on the metal parts of the gun is to help with corrosion resistance on the foreshore or marsh for wildfowl shooting.

Factory Engraved Watson & Hancock 20 Gauge Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 3950, 20 gauge, 27 1/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with a single brass bead sight on the smooth solid rib which is marked “WATSON & HANCOCK 308 HIGH HOLBORN LONDON”, light engraving at the breech, and chambers measured 3 inches with single extractor. Per the consignor, the gun was rebarreled by Griffin & Howe using the original breech section. The casehardened hammer fired action features fine scroll engraving, rebounding hammers, and double triggers. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with teardrop flats, “BLC” in the inscription oval, and checkered buttplate.
