Factory F. Mack Signed, Game Scene Engraved, and
Gold Inlaid Krieghoff Model K-32 Over/Under Shotgun
with Two Extra Barrel sets, Two Cases, and Barrel
Inserts - Serial no. 2913, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl.,
blue/coin/gold finish, walnut stock. Blued Bohler-Laufstahl
barrels with white front and steel mid-bead sights on the
matted vent rib, 1967 dated German proofs, 2 3/4 inch
chambers with automatic ejectors, and chokes marked
improved modified/full. The upper barrel is engraved oak leaf designs and scrolling gold line inlays in 4 inch wedges at the breech. The coin
finished action displays stunning deep relief cut and gold inlaid game scenes consisting of a setter flushing a trio of pheasants on the left with
a pointer flushing a trio of grouse on the right, both in highly detailed wooded scenes. The scenes are surrounded by gold inlaid scrolling lines
and extensive oak leaf and scroll designs extending to the top lever, upper tang, and trigger guard, which is inlaid with gold “B/L/C” initials. The
left scene is signed “F. MACK” below the setter. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted safety switch with gold inlaid “S”. Beautiful,
highly figured, multi-point checkered Schnabel forend with engraved and gold inlaid fittings and pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, right hand
palm swell, and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Includes two extra non-matching barrel set , one measures 32 inches and has 3 inch chambers with
automatic ejectors and interchangeable Briley chokes (improved cylinder/modified installed), and the other acts as the carrier barrels for the included 20 gauge, 28 gauge, and .410 bore barrel inserts (20 gauge installed). Also included are a Krieghoff takedown case, a Negrini takedown case, and extra set of wood furniture, and 8 extra assorted chokes. Stock measurements for the secondary set (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both .735 inches; minimum wall thickness both .032 inches. Barrel and stock measurements for the primary set (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .735/.733 inches; choke constriction .024/.028 inches; minimum wall thickness .038/.041 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 7 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% reblued finish and original gold and coin finishes with minor handling evidence, a few areas of slight discoloration in the coin, a few tiny scratches in the wood, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The extra barrel sets are very fine. Mechanically excellent.
