upper left of the barrel have British proofs. The matching serial number is marked on the butt and bottom of the barrel. Includes an oak case with Gustave Masu, London interior label, cleaning rod, key, screwdriver, and oiler.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 90% plus of the period retailer applied nickel finish with a few scattered small patches of light flaking and some light spotting. The slightly undersized attractive grips are very fine with a few scattered hairline cracks, mostly around the screws. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some extensive moderate handling/storage marks scattered throughout.

London Agency Cased Colt Etched Panel New Line .22 Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 46607, 22 RF cal., 2 1/4 inch slab sided bbl., nickel finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured in 1877 with the standard two-line address on top of the barrel, “COLT NEW 22” on the left in an etched panel, patent date on the bottom along with matching serial number “6607”, and full serial number on the butt. There are London proofs on the barrel and cylinder. It has standard features including smooth rosewood grips with “6607” hand marked inside the right panel. Includes an oak presentation case with Colt London Agency label inside the lid, cleaning rod, and ten .22 RF cartridges.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retains 85% plus of the original nickel
finish with a few scattered patches of light flaking on the front edge
of the cylinder and front right of the barrel, and a crisp etched panel.
The grips are excellent with a few scattered light handling marks.
Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some scattered very light handling/storage marks. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500

London Agency Cased Colt New House .38
Etched Panel Spur Trigger Revolver with Very
Scarce Pall Mall, London Barrel Address - Serial
no. 19397, 38 CF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured in 1884, the
desirable Pall Mall, London Colt two-line address
on top of the barrel and the desirable faint “COLT
HOUSE 38” etched panel on the left. The serial
number is on the butt. There are London proofs on
the bottom of the barrel and cylinder. It is fitted
with a pair of smooth rosewood grips. Includes an
oak case with Colt London Agency label on the
interior of the lid, key, cleaning rod, and ten .380
Eley cartridges.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 40% of the original blue finish with the balance having extensive scattered light pitting and mostly a smooth grey patina. The acid etched panel somewhat faint but visible. The grips are very fine with a few scattered very light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some very light handling/ storage wear.

barrel. The left side of the frame is marked
“41CAL C” for centerfire. It is fitted with a pair
of smooth grips. Includes leatherette wrapped
case with interior lining of the lid marked for
F.T. Baker and five .41 CF cartridges.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 60% plus of the
period, retailer applied nickel finish with some scattered minor flaking and a mostly well-defined etched panel. The grips are also fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some mild handling/storage wear.

of Colt Third Model “Thuer”

-A) Colt Third Model “Thuer”
Derringer - Serial no. 14730,
41 RF cal., 2 1/2 inch round bbl.,
nickel finish, hardwood grips.
Manufacturing began in 1870.
This pair are both of the Second
Type, featuring the short high
hammers and serial numbers
only 17 digits apart. Both have
the standard italic Colt marking
on top of the barrel and small
British proofs on the bottom, with
the serial numbers marked on the left side of the grip frames. The butts of both pistols have an additional number added “A980” and “A979” on the “A” and “B” respectively. The grips on both are hand numbered on the inside of both panels to match their respective guns. Includes an unmarked hardwood case fitted for the pair.
CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains 90% plus of the original nickel finish with some minor flaking concentrated on the left of the barrel. The grips are fine with some minor flaking of the varnish on the right panel and otherwise minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some scattered light handling/storage marks and a hairline crack in the lid.
B) Colt Third Model “Thuer” Derringer - Serial no. 14747, 41 RF cal., 2 1/2 inch round bbl., nickel finish, hardwood grips. See “A”.
CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains 90% of the original nickel finish with some scattered light flaking and light handling wear. The grips are fine with some scattered minor scuffs and retaining most of the varnish. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500
