Attractive Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action .45-90 WCF Rifle with Factory Letter - Serial no. 17538, 45-90 WCF cal., 26 inch octagon bbl., blue/
casehardened finish, walnut stock. The included factory letter lists the rifle with an octagon barrel in .45-90 caliber and plain trigger when received in the
warehouse on April 23, 1888 and shipped on August 11 with 24 other Model 1886s, order number 10853. This rifle was later professionally restored. Dovetail blade
and folding ladder sights on a barrel marked with the two-line address ahead of the rear sight and “”45-90 WCF” at the beech. The upper tang is marked “-Model 1886-.” The
lower tang has the patent dates marking and the serial number. Sling eyes are mounted on the underside of the barrel and stock. The straight grip stock is fitted with a crescent buttplate. The
John Moses Browning designed Winchester Model 1886 is one of the most popular Winchester lever actions. Browning’s design refined by Winchester’s team was capable of firing more powerful cartridges than any Winchester repeater before making it an excellent big game rifle, but production was still very limited compared to Winchester’s smaller rifles like the Model 1892 and 1894.
CONDITION: Very fine overall as professionally restored, retaining 99% plus of the blue and casehardened finish with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Antique Early 1895 Production Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle in Desirable .38-55 W.C.F. with Factory Letter - Serial no. 3512, 38-55 WCF
cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1895, the second year of production, with the desirable “first model” receiver featuring the
“10 o’clock” screw by the loading gate. The two-line Winchester address and caliber marking are on the top barrel flat. The upper tang is marked with the three-line
model, trademark, and patent information, and the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. It is fitted with a German silver blade front sight and elevation adjustable
buckhorn rear sight. It’s mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration and lists receipt at the warehouse on 7 March 1895 and shipment on 24 July 1895.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 99% plus of the professionally restored blue, nitre blue, and case colors with only the slightest handling marks. The replacement wood is excellent with only the

Manufactured in 1950 and subsequently elaborately custom embellished with scrollwork and double
gold inlaid bands at the muzzle, scroll wedge and gold band at the breech, and beautiful broad scroll engraving
surrounding panels scenes of a cowboy on the right and a Native American warrior on the left both in detail raised relief gold inlay. Mounted with a highly figured smooth forend and straight stock with checkered blue steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine as custom embellished/upgraded to current configuration, retaining 99% blue, gold, and casehardened finishes with minor handling evidence and a few marks in the wood. Mechanically excellent.
