Single Action Army
Revolver with Original Black Box - Serial no. 8567SA, 38 Special
cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber
grips. Manufactured in 1956. Standard markings. Matching serial numbers are found on frame (with suffix), triggerguard, backstrap, and grip panels (sans suffix). Assembly number “428” is marked on the front cylinder face and inside the loading gate. This revolver is pictured on page 98 of Don Wilkerson’s “Colt Single-Action Revolver Handbook 1955-1975”, a copy of which is included, and is noted as shipping December 10, 1956. Also includes the original black box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks, light cylinder drag lines, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine.

this configuration. Standard markings and features. Matching serial numbers found on the
frame, triggerguard, and backstrap with partial serial number “422” on the grip panels and
front cylinder face. Assembly number “255” on the inside of the loading gate. This revolver is
pictured on page 96 of Don Wilkerson’s “Colt Single-Action Revolver Handbook 1955-1975”, a
copy of which is included, and is noted as shipped on August 26, 1959. Also included is the original Colt black box. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks, slight traces of a cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with a couple of split lid corners.
