Historic Arms LLC. Bren Mark II Semi-Automatic Rifle with A-A Drum Magazine, Tripod and Case - Serial no. 2T3013, 303 British cal., 25 inch round bbl., phosphate finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in the U.S.A. using a combination of new-made components and military-surplus hardware (in particular a 1943 dated deactivated Canadian proofed Inglis receiver), this is a semi-automatic closed-bolt reproduction of the Commonwealth-standard BREN light machine gun. Blade front and folding peep rear sight, a conical flash hider, British proofed barrel, and along with the Historic Arms and “INGLIS/1943” markings on the right side of the receiver. During the rebuild process the “A” selector position was physically blocked, with only the “S” and “R” positions useable. A drum feed anti- aircraft magazine is currently installed, with the adaptor hardware in lieu of the top dust cover. Fitted with a folding steel bipod, smooth pistol grip and buttstock, and a steel buttplate. Includes a correct green painted tripod and wooden carry crate containing 3 30 round box magazines. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus phosphate finish with scattered dings and light scratches. Stock is very good with a repair at the receiver, scattered scratches and a chip at the heel. The drum magazine band is loose. Mechanically excellent. Crate is fine with storage and handling marks and some cracks in the wood. Tripod is very good with storage and handling marks as well as some spots of minor surface pitting. Estimate: 8,000 - 12,000
LOT 3448 D&K Browning 1919A6 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Accessories - Serial no. 0033, 30-06 cal., 26 inch round bbl., phosphate finish, metal stock. Manufactured with a mix of new manufactured and surplus (mostly Israeli) parts. The right side plate features the typical Browning nomenclature at the rear as well as “D&K/ REESEVILLE WI”. Fitted with a conical flash hider, metal bipod, carry handle, blade front and ladder rear sights, and a metal grip. Includes a metal A6 style buttstock, belt loader, wooden case for the loader, and cloth belt. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% commercial phosphate finish with scattered handling marks, some spots of light pitting, and a couple scratches. Mechanically excellent. Accessories are very good to very fine. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,000
LOT 3449 Gewehr Works Model 1919 A4/A6 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Tripod - Serial no. 00022, 308 , 26 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, metal grips. Manufactured using a combination of surplus (U.S. and Israeli) and new manufactured parts by Gewehr Werks in Tipp, City. Fitted with folding blade front and ladder rear sights. The right sideplate is marked on the right sideplate with the Saginaw Steering Gear legend. The Gewehr Werks markings on in the inside of the ejection port. Includes a tripod with brass plaque marked “MOUNT. TRIPOD/ CAL..30 M2/THE ACKLIN STAMPING CO. 1943”, an ammo can containing a belt of .308 Winchester Ammunition, two ammo cans, dummy ammo, and a cloth belt. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus original parkerized finish with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Tripod is excellent with storage and handling marks. Estimate: 4,000 - 7,000
