Wise Lite Arms PKM Semi-Automatic Rifle with Crate and Accessories - Serial no. WLA27-CB672, 7.62x54 R cal., 24 inch round bbl., black finish, laminate stock, plastic grips. Manufactured by Wise Lite Arms as a semi-automatic version of the venerable PKM general purpose machine gun. The rifle was built on a combination of surplus and modern parts. The feed tray cover is marked “NCB/672/1979r”. Fitted with a conical flash hider, protected post
front and 1500 meter adjustable rear sight, integral bipod. The rifle has a bakelite carry handle and pistol grip with laminated buttstock. Included with the rifle is a military style green painted wooden crate containing a belt carrier with linked soft point ammunition, two large ammo cans with belts, an extra short belt, an extra barrel, sling, and manuals. CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 95% original black finish with limited handling marks, a few scratches and scuffs, and dings in the stock. Mechanically excellent. Crate is very fine with some dents and cracks. All accessories are excellent. Estimate: 10,000 - 14,000
LOT 3441 Wise Lite Arms Model AJM 53 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Tripod and Accessories - Serial no. WLA28-6969, 8 mm Mauser cal., 24 inch round bbl., matte black finish, hardwood stock. This is an excellent semi-automatic only copy of the very desirable German MG-42 machine gun as manufactured by Wise Lite Arms of Boyd, Texas. In particular, it is named for (and uses some components from) the Zastava M53, Yugoslavia’s near-direct copy of the MG42, which served as their chief squad-level automatic weapon well into the 1990s. This weapon has the same outward appearance, weight and feel as an original fully automatic MG, only in the semi-automatic mode. The AJM 53 utilizes a combination of new-made commercial and some military surplus components that functions and fires from a closed-bolt. It has a folding front and adjustable tangent leaf rear sight just like the originals with
a stamped and welded receiver and a bipod on the heat shield. The left rear side of the receiver is marked in five lines: “WISE LITE ARMS/ BOYD, TX/MOD. AJM-53/WLA28-6969/8MM MAUSER”, with a note on top (concealed by the Yugoslavian-made top cover) warning to only use military specification ammo in the rifle. A number of accessories are included, with a H&K branded field tripod, Hensoldt-Wetzlar periscope sight, sight illuminator unit, extra barrel with transport case, three belt carrier drums (one marked for 7.62mm NATO), and assorted manuals and papers. CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus original matte black finish, showing minor wear and handling marks overall, and some minor chips on the buttstock. The illuminator is untested and the lens cover is cracked and dried out, but the scope is in good condition, with minor spotting on the otherwise crisp and clear optics. Mechanically excellent. Wise-Lite Arms SA-43 Goryunov Semi- Automatic Weapon with Wheeled Armored Carriage - Serial no. WLA29- 5012, 7.62x54 R , 32 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. This is an excellent semi-automatic copy of the classic Russian SG-43 medium machine gun, that is mounted on a two-wheeled mount. These weapons were based on the very successful 1910 Maxim design and this example uses a mixture ofSoviet and Polish manufactured surplus parts mated to an American made, semi-automatic (only) receiver. The original version of this Russian MG was used extensively throughout World War II and later as seen in many World War II newsreels and movies. The left side of the receiver is marked “WISE LITE ARMS BOYD TEXAS/MOD. SA43” along with the caliber and serial number. It features a post front sight and folding ladder rear sights, with “6/7.62 mm/CKM-wz.43/1955r/RK-825” marked on the Polish top cover, original style spade-type grips, with butterfly trigger and spade cocking handle. The wheeled mount allows the weapon to rotate from side to side as well elevate, and comes with the integral front metal shield. Matching numbers have been added to several parts with electric pencil. It is complete with six (6) ammunition cans and five (5) non-disengrating metal ammunition belts. Each belt holds approximately 100 rounds and all are in like new condition. CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% of the blue finish, showing a few light handling marks overall. The carriage shows bright wear on the wheels and scattered handling marks. Mechanically fine. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,250
