Attractive Special Order Winchester Deluxe Model
1894 Lightweight Takedown Lever Action Rifle with
22 Inch Barrel - Serial no. 376963, 30 WCF cal., 22 inch
lightweight round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in
1907 with standard two-line address/patent marking, two-line nickel steel
marking, and “30 W.C.F.” on the special order, 22 inch, rapid taper, lightweight barrel. There are
Winchester factory oval proofs on top of the barrel and on the receiver at the breech. Import marked on
underside of barrel. The three-line model/trademark marking is on the upper tang and serial number on the bottom of
the receiver. The left side of the lower tang is marked “4734 R”, with “4734” repeated in the stock inlet. It is fitted with a ramped No. 21 German silver blade front and
No. 34 three-leaf express rear sights. It is mounted with a very finely figured, H-style checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber grip cap and checkered shotgun buttplate. Out of the first 353,999 Model 1894s produced that the Cody Firearms Museum has the Winchester records for, only 2,252 had 22 inch barrels (per included copy of page 16 to the excerpt from the ARMAX Cody Firearms Museum journal rarity study).
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 80% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish and 60% of the vibrant original case colors with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina, most noticeably around the takedown collar and on edges. The wood is also very fine with some scattered light handling marks, crisp checkering, and retaining most of the varnish.

tang is marked “MODEL 1873.” The lower tang has the serial number. The forearm and straight grip stock are plain walnut. The buttstock is fitted with a crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance. 60% original nitre blue remains on the loading gate. The buttplate retains 40% original case colors.
The hammer and lever retain 50% original case colors. The wood is also very fine with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. A solid representative example of a Winchester Model 1873 rifle in .32 WCF.

Antique Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action
Rifle with Factory Letter - Serial no. 498077B, 32
WCF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut
stock. The Model 1873 was extremely popular with
those heading to the American West, in part because they
paired with a trusty Colt Single Action Army revolver in the same caliber. Offered here is a high
condition third model with integral dust cover rail and dust cover with serrated rear edge and chambered in
the smallest centerfire caliber offered to the Model 1873 line. The included factory letter (copy) confirms the octagon barrel in .32 caliber and plain trigger. The
letter also states the rifle was received in the warehouse on July 9, 1896 and shipped on December 21. The rifle is fitted with Winchester No. 21 silver insert front and No. 22H
rear sporting sights. The top barrel flat has the two-line Winchester legend ahead of the rear sight and “32 WCF” at the breech. “32 CAL” is marked on the cartridge elevator. The upper
