Very Fine World War II U.S.
Remington-Rand Model 1911A1
Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no.
922368, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl.,
Dulite finish, plastic grips. Manufactured
in 1943, at the height of World War II, this is an early production example
of a Remington-Rand 1911A1. The left side of the slide is marked with
the correct early style two-line “REMINGTON-RAND SYRACUSE, NEW
YORK” address and a “P” on top. The left side of the frame has the “FJA” inspection mark
and “P” below the magazine release. The standard U.S. property, serial number, and model designation are marked on the right side. The full blue barrel is marked “G” on the bottom
in front of the lug and “COLT 45 AUTO” on the lower left. It is fitted with blade and notch sights, checkered slide release, checkered thumb safety and narrow hammer, short stamped trigger, checkered mainspring housing, checkered Keyes Fiber grips, and a “G”
marked full-blue magazine.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original Dulite
finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth
grey patina, primarily on the grip straps and in the form of
light holster wear on leading edges. The grips are excellent
with some mild wear and scattered minor blemishes in the
mostly well defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.

U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1911A1
National Match Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. 1032618, 45 ACP cal.,
5 inch round bbl., parkerized finish,
walnut grips. Originally manufactured
as a Remington Rand contract M1911A1
in 1943, the frame of this pistol was sent to Springfield Armory to
serve as the base of a National Match pistol. The slide is post-WWII Colt
production with a serrated Patridge blade front sight and a “U.S.” marked
Triangle/HEG micro-click adjustable rear sight, with the one-line Hartford
address on the right side, “NM7791435” on the left, and “18” under the firing pin stop.
The barrel is numbered to the gun, with “.45 AUTO/NM 7791414” on the chamber and
a “7267718/N M” marked solid bushing. Atwood-inspected frame, with “SA”, “T” and “N
M” stamps on the right side, long alloy adjustable trigger, thin hammer, long grip safety, serrated mainspring housing, checkered front strap and checkered hardwood grips. CONDITION: Very fine as arsenal upgraded to National Match specification, with 97% of the parkerized finish, showing some light handling marks and
edge wear overall. Strong blue finish is present on the barrel,
with some bright cycling marks. Grips are excellent, with a few
dents. Mechanically excellent.

Standard U.S.A. Model H-D Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial
no. 123693, 22 LR cal., 4 1/2 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, plastic grips. Fixed blade and notch sights with “PROPERTY OF U.S.A.” on top of the barrel and “PROPERTY OF/U.S.” on the right side of the frame. Standard address, caliber, and model markings on the left side of the frame and slide with a serrated trigger and checkered exposed hammer.
CONDITION: Excellent. 98% original blue finish remains with some traces of light edge wear, handling marks, and some small dings on the right side of the frame. Grips are fine with sharp checkering, and small chips missing on the interior side of the butt. Mechanically excellent.

nd manufactured in 1942, the “Flare Pistol, 45 Caliber” (FP-45) was intended to A) give the citizens of occupied ations a way to express their displeasure to the occupiers, B) not give the enemy anything worth salvaging,
nd C) be cheap. The Guide Lamp Division of General Motors was tapped to produce the firearm, a collection of
heet metal stampings and cast zinc components assembled around a smoothbore barrel. While inexperienced ith arms production, Guide Lamp stepped up admirably and cranked out over a million of the deadly little
ontraptions in a matter of months. The pistol is correctly devoid of markings with two oiler holes on either side
f the frame, and a hollow grip for ammunition storage. Includes a copy of the book “The FP-45 Liberator Pistol”, a orrect box and a small box containing the instructions and ten .45 ACP cartridges.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 40% of the original phosphate finish mixed with a mottled grey and brown patina overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with noticeable exterior wear and tears at the
bottom seam and lid.

CONDITION: Very fine as arsenal refurbished with 98% of the parkerized finish remaining, some light edge wear, small dings under the finish, and slightly light markings on top of the barrel. The grips are excellent with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
