Custom Engraved Winchester 16 Gauge Model 21 Pattern 21-6 Style Double Barrel Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 11856, 16 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, fancy checkered walnut stock. Blued Winchester Proof Steel
with dual bead sights on the matted concave solid rib, standard barrel markings, 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors,
and chokes marked “IMP CYL”/”MOD”. The blued action displays engraving
similar to the factory 21-6 pattern with scroll surrounding game scenes
consisting of a setter on the left, a pointer on the right, a pair of pheasants on
the underside, and a pointer bust on the triggerguard. The gun features a single
selective trigger and automatic tang mounted safety with gold inlaid “SAFE”.
Beautifully figured, Winchester 21-B pattern fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail
forend with engraved fittings and ebony tip inlay as well a straight grip stock
with fleur-de-lis checkered bare butt. Includes a leather bound takedown case
with canvas cover, nickel snap caps, oiler, and cleaning tools. Barrel and stock
measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .673/.673
inches; choke constriction .006/.011 inches; minimum wall thickness .018/.019 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 7/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 8 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall as custom embellished/upgraded to current configuration, retaining 99% blue finish with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.

Winchester Model 21 Skeet Double Barrel Shotgun with Case - Serial
no. 8475, 12 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut pistol grip
stock. Blued Winchester proof steel barrels with a dual bead sights on the
matted concave solid rib, chokes marked “WS-1”/”WS-2.”, and chambers
marked 2 3/4 inches with automatic ejectors. The blued action is unadorned
other than the “SKEET” marking on the underside and features a single
selective trigger and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Nicely figured,
multi-point checkered beavertail forend and pistol grip stock with factory
checkered bare butt. Includes a leather mutton leg takedown case. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .733/.730 inches; choke constriction .008(jug)/.015 inches;
minimum wall thickness .030/.033 inches; 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 5 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% plus original blue finish with most of the loss around the breeches and light handling evidence. The wood is very good with some dings and scratches, residue on the forend, and sharp checkering. The case is good with mild wear and some broken straps. Mechanically excellent.
