Engraved and Gold Inlaid Winchester Model 21 Grand American Style Double Barrel Shotgun
Three Barrel Set with Case - Serial no. 33937, 20/28/410 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/gold finish,
walnut stock. Blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels with a single red bead sight on the matted vent
rib which is marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER”, wedges of scroll engraving at either breech and
muzzle, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and chokes marked “IMP. CYL.”/”MOD.” The blued action
displays extensive closed scroll engraving surrounding four gold inlaid game scenes including a setter on the
left, a pointer on the right, a bust of a setter on the triggerguard, and a rendition of the Winchester Rider on the
underside. The engraving extends to the triggerguard, tangs, and toplever which is inlaid “20-28-410” in gold around
the bolt. The gun features a gold plated single selective trigger and tang mounted automatic safety switch. Beautifully figured, fancy fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and ebony tip inlay and pistol grip stock with blued “GRAND/AMERICAN” gold inlaid grip cap and fleur-de-lis carved and checkered bare butt. Included are two extra matching numbered and engraved barrel sets, one in 20 gauge and one in 28 gauge, both measuring 28 inches and featuring their own forends, improved cylinder/modified marked chokes, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors.
