This rifle features a fine floral scroll engraved receiver with gold inlaid border accents, gold “WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK-” on the left wall and serial number in gold on the right side of the receiver ring. The floor plate, trigger guard and grip cap are engraved with the same floral scroll design, with a big horn ram in the center of the floor plate with gold bordering. The top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The barrel is manufactured without sights, the breech end is marked with the Winchester oval proof and in addition to the standard markings, is marked “ULTRA SET” on the right rear. Jeweled bolt and follower, with floral scroll engraving on the bolt handle. Mounted with a nicely figured American black walnut pistol grip stock with fancy bordered checkered forearm and wrist, Schnabel forend, grip cap, solid rubber Winchester recoil pad and sling swivel studs. With original box. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine.
